Diamond cutting discs cut way slower, time is money.
a bonded disc rapidly gets smaller as you cut. leading to it cutting slower and slower the longer you use it. I would say, maybe the first 5-10% of the wheel cuts faster, after that its increasingly not. If you average out cut speed across the wheel I suspect the diamonds faster.
If you change wheels early to keep the speed up you're probably use 200 bonded wheels per diamond for that extra cutting speed. $$$
The dust off a bonded wheel is pretty toxic. If you're worried about a few seconds here and there, I suspect that you're not always grabbing the PPE, the difference bonded discs all day verses diamond disc might be a decade of your life expectancy, and that's time you cant buy.
