Caught the 29.97 FPS reference in the video. I'm going to take a guess and say it references the NTSC frame speed when animating & exporting renders from Maya, which can be adjusted to 29.97 FPS in the Time Slider > Framerate settings of the Animation Preferences. Love stylized art & your teaching method, so looking forward to this series!
I don’t know if this was the clue. but I saw the 29.97FPS highlight in the weight. Is that the clue? I know that’s at a hint at frame rates for animation.

I always have problems after I do texture in substance painter and configure it back in Maya it appears in low quality, anti last, some part stretching.
