This is the coolest thing I've seen with the frog spell since seeing it used to beat every boss in FFII (family computer). Great job! I've never even beaten it with a full party of humans lol
this is the kind of fight I've always dreamt to have in a game, so much stuff going on, but for me I don't know a thing about what's happening lol. it's an impressive strategy, enjoyed watching the fight very much, good job!
More impressive than the tactic of defeating Exdeath in his tree form using a Cannoner character. The GBA version of FF5 is more insane than the Mother 2 adaptation for the same portable via bugs(in that case, defeating Gygas jailed in Pokey's machine)
Why is the frog status needed? I always just used a maiden’s kiss to get rid of the status condition, so I’m not really aware of the properties being exploited.
It's supposed to be a handicap, not an advantage. Then again, I don't remember if the Frog's disadvantages are really relevant for this fight, just wanted to keep the tradition with soloing most bosses with a frog.
Dragon Power (used throughout the fight) is a buff that can stack up to 5 times, with exponentially good results. Dragon's Kiss (used at 2:06 ) forces the 'Dragon' status on anything. In other words, as far as the game is concerned, Omega is a dragon from that point onwards. Dragon Cannon deals double damage to Dragon types. This, coupled with all of the above, explains why I was able to do that much damage.
Hiroyuki Ito needed to work his magic for one of the Action oriented FF games. He already did so for a turn based game (V), and a game that wasn't quite turn based, nor Action based (XII). Action would have been the culmination of his work. Other devs aren't quite as talented as he was.
@@MrWright >Ito Speaking of, have you seen the last game he directed? It's called Dungeon Encounters. Seems like a completely stripped down JRPG except for the combat, which seems awesome.

I really wish the gba bonus dungeons and add ons would’ve been added to the pixel remasters. Truly the best versions of all their remakes imo.
Wow, incredible video. 👍
I didn't even know you could do that Combo. I love this boss. It has a awesome design and all its attacks Are really scary.😂

@@MrWright I should’ve figured that out based on it being in the title next to the lvl 1 restriction. Makes sense
I would be embarrassed if i got beat by one from with just mix and the combine command 💀💀💀

These kind of thing is what make recent final fantasy game trash... there is no more awesomeness like that in their game
