Doesn’t Uber and Lyft technically track the miles already and it only tracks the miles that you do when you login….. I’m guessing the miles that you drive to get to the ride don’t count? Or the miles you drive to get home after work don’t count.

I did try Mile IQ at first, but it only allows so many trips each month before you have to pay. I really like the Self-Employed app. The good news is that you get it for free after you do your taxes (which Uber and Lyft both pay for btw). Unfortunately if you drive a lot, you probably won't find any good ones for free. Another one I've heard of is Everlance, but I have absolutely no knowledge or experience with it. I hope that helps.

do you have to turn on the tracking every time or can I leave auto tracking on
Do you have to put the miles in yourself for every ride you take? I see it doesnt automatically track either even tho its says that... and how do you do that before the passengers get in or after?.. quickbook is so complicated when it comes to that part.
This app used to work great! Recently, I'm not getting any miles tracked, either. I have been adding milage myself into that app, from another source. You can just use your starting milage and ending milage to figure out the entire amount. I'm looking for another app to use at the start of 2020.
How does it track your mileage? Do you have to input something or turn something on? I've noticed that it tracked some of my rides and not others. Let's start from the beginning. I'd appreciate it.
If it's not tracking all your miles, check your settings. There will be something that asks if you have missed trips. They go through step by step how to change settings on Android or Apple. I will try to do another video in the future, but for now let's try that. If I didnt make enough sense for you, please let me know.

Hey can you export your info to your own accountant?
Yes you can. I didn't do that myself, but it has the capability. You could either print it or take a jump drive to your accountant.
So the app was working just fine until I actually started doing uber and it didn’t record my miles
That is very strange. I would contact their customer support for this. There may be a setting that needs changed or something.
Does she have to say she is a female lyft driver. We can see that already or is the app only for females?
What is that call app name?
The app I'm using for logging my miles is called Quick Books Self-Employed.
