Once you claim mileage or expenses on a vehicle, you have to file the same way on that vehicle every year. Just throwing that out there. One year I claimed a ton of vehicle repairs, but then the next year I didn’t have as many expenses as the mileage would have saved me. 😢 I still had to claim gas/repairs.
Great video, what would you recommend if I started tracking mileage manually[which is what I’m currently doing] and want to learn maybe using the app Stride. Should I switch? Or just stick to manually at least for this year? Thanks for your advice. Awesome. Thanks to your videos I have perfect metrics.
"You must keep a log not only of your business trips AND PERSONAL as well if you use the same vehicle for both." Is this true?!?! I've just been tracking my business trips, I'm a wedding DJ so those dates and locations are easy to track.
Hi! I am being serious with my question. I am a Spark Driver, what is the best way to know how much you may pay in taxes at the end of year? I keep a manual log in a notebook in my car. When I wait on orders, I update it. I will download the Stride.
Yes. If you would, show me how you personally do that in a video, please
