Man...It's taken me over 3 years to arrange another Lion King song, but I'm back! With the title song from Lion King 2. Although it doesn't carry the same nostalgic weight as The Circle of Life, it is still a BEAUTIFUL song and I really wanted to do something special for it.
Looking back over my Disney arrangements I can't help but feel like I've come full circle with this one as I'm reminded of how grateful I am for the love and support you have given me over the years. I promise to never stop making music, for it is my lifeblood.

Lion King 2 was a great movie but it is so underrated and went under the radar

A few years ago I used to have a client who would get SUPER excited whenever it was time to go outside. Like, he would literally be jumping up and down, clapping and yelling as he sat to put his shoes on. It was like he didn't have any way of processing that much excitement without just letting it explode, metaphorically speaking. I always wondered what it would be like to really feel like that. It is only after hearing a work like this that I can come close to understanding how that feels.
You make your Zulu/Xhosa sound natural like you're one of us. Beautiful man the mixing here is an admirable effort as much as the performance.

My high school show choir used this for the closer my senior year. It feels so good to hear another great arrangement of it.

I know this song isn't strictly religious, but I am a follower of Jesus, and I look for meaning in all media. This song may not be one of your hymn arrangements but it really is a beautiful reminder that our god lives in us. That we find our identity in him and nothing else. Wonderful job. Best acapella channel there is.

Dear Sam, for the past few years I have listened and been so blessed by your God given skills. Thank you, I truly mean this, as a singer and song writer, I’m just totally in awe of how you listen and arrange every single piece perfectly.
I sang at Tanglewood in the summer of 1980. As a guest conductor I meet Aaron Copland. It was a wonder to listen to him share. Later that night I heard Appalachian Spring for the first time. I wept. I’ve heard you do jazz, gospel, show tunes, pop songs, and even video game music. I would love to hear what you could do with this masterpiece. As you may know the simple folk tune, Lord of the Dance is part of this piece. But I’ve never heard of put together inside the score with voices and words.
As a classical piece it’s breathtaking, in your hands you should win a Grammy for best original arrangement. Please pray about it. It’s a long piece, but if one man could do this it’s you. Think of it like a Mona lisa or painting the 16th chapel. True art takes time. Thank you
