That’s my son Nolan Gibbons. This is without question one of the happiest moments of his entire life. It’s so obvious, just watching him in this video, he is beaming.
There is a saying that goes “find your happy place”, and Nolan had a lot of them, but A Capella Academy is hands down Nolan‘s favorite.
He was so fortunate to have found such a loving, supportive, accepting, inclusive , inspiring group of artists, coaches, leaders and friends. If you have the slightest inkling to want to be a part of it, I strongly encourage you to apply. Don’t think about it. Do it. You will not regret it.
As his parents, we knew we hit the jackpot when Nolan decided that these were his people and he auditioned, and then he got excepted and went to camp and we got to see him in all his glory there. One of the best decisions he ever made.
We will be forever grateful to A Capella Academy.

The voices are beautiful,incredible even...but i think there's always a reason why Lebo M decided to sing it the way he did and in doing so, many were touched spiritually and emotionally by this song. There's just none of that displayed here,it's too much,way too many solo vocalists,it's a mess. Speaking as a South African that understands Lebo M's work.

Not a fan of the soloists doing vocal gymnastics, don't think it's needed. The overall production and performances are brilliant though.
