I have the ball 2 and the cone. Just used the cone a few days ago on my semi wheels as they were just starting to get a bit hazy and speckled. I cleaned them off with a bit of dish soap and a clean rag. Took my little round terry applicator and lightly coated the whole wheel with mothers, applied a fair amount to my cone and went to town. Only areas I had to hand polish were between the lugs and the lip. Took another clean microfiber wiped and buffed all the residue off, and my wheels were shining like a mirror. I finished up with a bit of griot garages spray wax to leave a nice protective layer. Only took me about 10 minutes per wheel, about an hour and some for all six.
I typically use the big ball for things like my bumper or aluminum toolboxes. Works pretty good on big flat surfaces. I much prefer the cone for my wheels.

Use a variable speed polish sander and an airway buff orange wheel and a Tripoli brown bar as a cut . That will take all the scratches out . Followed by yellow airway and green bar that will make it look like chrome ! I’m a professional polisher from louisiana

yeah, but that set up costs a lot of money.. you also need the special power tool… I have to polish my old semi wheels and the pro kit is $150 plus I have to buy that high speed tool. this is just a budget video that anyone can do.

Glad I found your vid, I'm doing the same wheels right now. Hot water, Fast Orange and Dawn will get the power ball clean, if you work the soap into the sponge with your hands. Mine looks near new when done.

Grab a bag of cheap x-large shorty socks at the dollar store and pull it over your power ball, terry looking side out. If you happen to wear through it, just pitch it and put on another.

The only good thing the Powerball is good for is if your wheels are already clean and polished as you use the Powerball to maintain the wheel.

Best way I've found to wash it is to use a bucket of water/dish soap and spin it with the drill. It'll get 99% of the black out of it.
