I did this to my old Centerlines and the results were amazing! Pre polish I thought I made a mistake because everything was so dull but after the polish OMG lol Awesome video!
Good video. I've used exactly the same products in this video and got excellent results 👍. One thing to add tho is after you polish, apply a sealer or wax on your wheels. It keeps them looking good for way longer than without, and makes cleaning easy!
Ahhh.....the task of tasks! Glad you brought up the pad....I was like he could really cut time getting it cleaned up with an orange or even yellow( if was being stubburn)just have to watch the speed a bit more.. LoL That polish is the bomb for sure....I have added a touch of Mother's(or any brand) paste, to thicken it up a bit, to cut down on some of the "sling" , if using a machine. Great video and info as usual!
I think the link's is the same for the generic. Great Video n thanks for the links to the generic. If anyone is like me they have to get the generic, these O'l pony's have to have their parts.. You can get some 1000 grit sand paper n go up to 3000 n then polish them with some polish stuff, just make sure when sanding that you get all the scratches out when switching n goin up, so you don't have to sand so much when goin up.
I rescued a pair of street lites. Ther werent as bad but lots of brake dust, and some corrosion from the weather. All by hand. What a process. I used mothers billet polish which isnt made anymore. Was lucky to find some old stock at a parts store and bought all 3 containers. Havent been able to find a paste polish that works as good as that up here in canada.
Looking sweet BREW2L, always love the polished type wheels, they are going to looks so good on Popa T's car, with the new tire's it going to look great.
Good idea your polishing without the lugs on lug nuts polishing on a wheel will tear the hell out of those foam and polishing Bonnets and balls so you did it right looks great😊
need an airway wheel and grinder will get much better results. also you dont want to use 3000 grit it closes the pores of the alumnium. you want to hit it with 320/400/600 then cut with a orange airway buff and brown compound. next youll get a green airway and moss green compound. lastly use a terry cloth or flannel cloth with a quality metal polish.
I’ve done the whole aluminum acid cleaning, wet sand with 1000-2000 grit and then polished with mother’s mag by hand before and after that, I don’t like polishing wheels anymore 😂.
Hey I just found your channel. I enjoy your down to earth attitude and friendliness on camera. A little off topic for your usual content, just wondering if you built your own shop and poured that driveway. If it didn't already come with the house, it would be interesting to know shop dimensions and maybe a budget for the build if that's not too personal. Enjoy watching you guys!
He has built most of it up here on the channel....check the video history and take in the diversity he has with includes his kids /family /friends all along the way. If I remember correctly all the info about the building is in the videos showing the build process from foundation up / then installing the lift. He's a friend of mine and "old school" , hard guy to beat when it comes to being humble/ down to earth. Easy to watch and enjoy , for sure.
@@TheSifuentestx 👍 Even though the base is about Foxbodies, he keeps a lot of the tips / tricks general enough that can be used on most anything. So enjoy....no matter the manufacturer preference, may even convert you over! 😂
Just happened across your channel, watched the vid and subscribed. Good content brother. I'm glad to see someone else uses aluminum brightener, you'd think it was a secret or something. Lol
Wheels came out beautiful. Im a first time fox body owner and i bought a set of weld draglite wheels and was wondering if anyone knew what size tire i can fit on the rear without it rubbing? Its a 15x8 rear. Any input is greatly appreciated. Keep up the great content! 👍
Alot comes to play, what type suspension components ur car has, weather factory or not.what you plan on doing with the car, like drag racing, drifting or street cruser for example.plus back spacing of the rims,if quad shocks are still on the car or not.alot to consider
my detail biz guys tell me to ditch the foam pads, use only the wool pads even if faux wool pads. just sayin, what do you keep on them to keep from re-oxidizing?
Those wheels turned out great. Have you got any helping hints for peeling clear coat on the lips of wheels. I’ve always been afraid I’ll make them worse and have been looking for helpful hints for them.
Honestly not much to do other than flake off what you can by hand and shoot some 2k clear over it to help lock the old clear in and help it not peel any further
Everything you are doing is A1 just use a green Scotch right next time with the aluminum bright then check out the results but I do like everything else you sho
And if you are really want to see results take a bad aluminum rim and use SOS soap pad with water until you feel the metal get real soft then work it with the other results you are showing
Love your content, but this is nowhere near done polished. At least to my standards. If you can see it, it aint even close. Squeaky clean mirror finish or nothing.
I love watching aluminum come back to life!
Great camerawork young lady! Helpful tips for polishing wheels. Thanks!
I did this to my old Centerlines and the results were amazing! Pre polish I thought I made a mistake because everything was so dull but after the polish OMG lol Awesome video!
I went through that same polishing on my Welds. I have noticed that I can keep the shine with a application of Lucas Spray wax after each hand wash.
Good video. I've used exactly the same products in this video and got excellent results 👍. One thing to add tho is after you polish, apply a sealer or wax on your wheels. It keeps them looking good for way longer than without, and makes cleaning easy!
Man you should really try mother's aluminum and mag polish. That stuff is amazing
That's the nice thing about my old draglights, they were easy to polish.
For my tractor trailers I use wab aluminum trailer cleaner you don't even need to scrub spray and rinse.
Where can I get it been looking for it for years
Finally a steady handed camera operator 👍

Great video. Thank you. I will try this with my Shelby Cal 500s. Shop quoted me $800 and another $350 each to refinish.
Looms great!! I used the PowerBall on my old school draglights. I need to try the white diamond polish!
Awesome. Fast and easy. Works for me. Thanks for the tips and shout out to Memphis -great job filming .

Thanks from Aussie down to earth video thank you
I have a vantage set of western turbines.
Can't wait to give it a try.
White Diamond is what I've been using for years on my wheels, works great!!!
Great video man, they look awesome. I need to get my AR outlaws cleaned up like that
Looking sweet BREW2L, always love the polished type wheels, they are going to looks so good on Popa T's car, with the new tire's it going to look great.
Thanks for sharing will definitely follow your recommendations in cleanly / polishing my aluminum rims. You ‘ROCK’ Dude !!!
Brew2l, Bogart's =BadAss!

Hello There Try That Purple Metal Polish I Think you'll like it
I have the billet star centelines, the wheels you have remind me of them so much.

It takes me more than 5 mnutes to dismount my wheels on my International 4700. Damn heavy.
Thanks for the tip I am going to pick one up!!
Great job. Thanks for the tips!

Appreciate ya brother! 😎✊
Looks GRRRRRRR8TTTT!!!!!!!
Great job filming Memphis!
Does that new set of slicks mean that we finally get to see some track time on this channel?
Brew2l after dark, on location at the track 😁
That White Diamond is fantastic
Bro I'm really enjoying your videos!
Thank you 🙏
NAPA sells a product like that. Aluminum brightner . I made an aluminum horse trailer look fantastic with it . Just dont let it streak .
Awesome job to me buddy thanks for your great skills 🎉
I've polished fuel rails but now wheels. Interesting info
Ive used white diamond for years i even use it on my head lights
Great job! I use the power ball on mine
Man those look awesome now

The wheels look good!!
Vary nice job young man, good stuff
Easier than wet sanding and then use that white diamond and mother's for up keep.
Thanks for this
BREW2L, Read the MSDS on that aluminum brightener carefully. I ran across some that would soak through your skin and damage your bones.
What was the front tire size again are they 15’ 14’
Great for the everyday guy

@@BREW2LFOXBODY I appreciate it. I’ve watched videos of doing it but if you can polish them to get the discoloration out before you reseal them.
Yes just don’t go too far with the polishing or it’ll look just as bad 👌
Awesome work 🎉
Great stuff…thank you!!
Let’s not forget to mention that polishing wheels are so much easier when they’re off the tire and off the car LOL
Thank you.
My ex is a professional polisher 😁
Thanks for the tip. What size is your shop?
Thanks
You can put shark hide on them and they will stay shiny a lot longer. And not get water spots as bad. It pricey but a quart will go a long way
Much easier using Autosol Metal Polish and then Super Gloss
thx for the great Vid. worth watching ;)
A Boss what was size of that back tire
275/50/15
great video
Can they be clearcoated at this point
What is the link to the polisher the one you gave it brings up the same one for both links
My ponies need thus 🤌
👍😎👍
Thanks ..
Brew2l I believe u may have ur new camera operator get job Memphis...
Kinda looks like a 2 piece wheel. Might explain the two different shades of oxidation in the beginning.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
where are your gloves? brother 😃
What for?
That’s alot of work on just one 15” rim . I’ll just stick to hand washing my dull billet 24 inch
Everything you are doing is A1 just use a green Scotch right next time with the aluminum bright then check out the results but I do like everything else you sho
And the white diamond is the right result smells like vanilla too
And if you are really want to see results take a bad aluminum rim and use SOS soap pad with water until you feel the metal get real soft then work it with the other results you are showing
Did I hear a espn tone? Fantasy football?
ASK A HARLEY OWNER HOW TOO POLISH METAL ... WE KNOW ALL THE TRICKS!!! SERIOUSLY GUYS!!! I OWN 3
Harley owners get practice polishing knobs! 😂
Yep….they are usually broke down……so theres ample time to practice POLISHING!!!😂😂😂😂😂
😂
Wenol is all that's needed
Why are you bragging about owning 3 deprecating assets? So weird
Love your content, but this is nowhere near done polished. At least to my standards. If you can see it, it aint even close. Squeaky clean mirror finish or nothing.
You should have removed the stem.
My dad used to say there's something wrong with people that sat around and polish on metal...
So your dad preferred dull, ugly wheels... a real dbag.
Thanks
