These have to be some of the oldest products available. I can't believe that almost all of the products are separated before you use them. The flitz is one of my all time favorites! Great video
Another good video and comparison. And I love your wall of wheels that I didn't know you had! Especially the Ronal R9's 😍. I haven't polished anything in a long time but Mothers was my favorite back then. Cheers
@@6thGearGarage this was the direction I was going! Figured mothers was “cheap” enough dollar wise to not kill me if it didn’t work/last.. I have a side by side with aluminum wheels and needing to get the mud stain and haze out

The flitz is one of my all time favorites! Great video
I am a huge fan of FLITZ been using it for years & with there buff ball it makes my wheels look even better faster.
I was surprised how well the Flitz did on the wheels, since it works on so many other types of metals.
I will look into their buff ball!
The best.

White diamond is a great polish! Works better than mothers in my experience
Thanks, I'll check it out!
Can you clay bar an aluminum wheel before polishing?
Yes you could but I’m not sure how much difference it would make. It would be a good experiment.
Aluminum wheels like welds can't go wrong with Flitz
Great video on the polish options. Could you list where your buffing pads came from or who supplies them?
Yes, here is the set I purchased on amazon: amzn.to/4274bOG
@@6thGearGarage Thanks for the follow up and link to the buffing pads. Great!!
I wish they still made mothers billit! It was even better then the mothers mag polish
I never even knew it used to exist, was it around for long?
I agree the mothers incredible billet was a great polish
Mothers billet was the best but flitz is second
I’m interested in wheels shown at the 1:18 , hurricane style 3 blade with black. Ford 5.5 if yo have any?😊in 15x10 or 15x12
I only have those in 6-lug. They would look so good in 10 or 12 wide
So would you say flitz is worth the money, or go mothers and a polishing wheel
The flitz was worth it, but so was the mothers. Both were a great option. I think mothers + a polishing wheel will save time though.

@@08pileggi After polishing them up, consider a ceramic coating to keep them looking shiny. The mud will come off much easier.
@@6thGearGarage yes definitely thinking that down the road for sure!
Shouldve tried zephyr pro40 and luhmi amglos polish
Mothers works better
Never Dull or Flitz seemed to give the best shine.
Will it work on ALUMINIUM?
You're bloody right it will!
You should try out j juice polish
I'll cehck it out, thanks!
what an awesome video, ty
i like the mothers best
Mothers has always been my go-to polish, but I've had great results in following up with blue magic and a coat of carnuba wax after.
My 85 pickup will thank you
Mothers
Awesome ❤
Thanks 🤗
Do you sell any of your wheels?
I sold some sets about 5 years ago when I moved, but then I bought some more sets. I have a problem lol.
