I decided to stop soda about 7 years ago when I saw a ziplock bag of how much sugar was in a can of soda. I started drinking seltzer and I still love it. The first month I Lost about 10 punds.😊
I've been drinking a majority of flavored sparkling water now for about...4-5 years vs. caffeine free sodas like Sprite, various Root Beers, Fanta, and stuff like that..all my drinks other than sweet tea are caffeine free while the tea has small...very small amounts versus what I used to drink 8-9 years ago. My health has actually gone up due to cutting out all the gunk and extra sugars that are in regular soda..sure I'll have one on occasion but we're talking about a guy who used to drink 2 cans of Mt.Dew a day for over 15 years. Now I'll have a soda on occasion but it's like..3 caffeine free sodas in a 2 month period..maybe 4 or 5 at most depending on if a party is going on and that's all they have. Every time after that it's either regular water or flavored sparkling water. On top of just being better for me a 1 liter bottle of flavored sparkling water is cheaper on the wallet than a 6 pack of soda..like legit Kroger brand sparkling water at my local Kroger is 59 cents for a 1 liter bottle versus like...3 bucks for a six pack of bottles of the average soda.
I have a SodaStream machine and mix 2/3 carbonated water with 1/3 mango (or any type) juice into my glass with ice cubes. Cranberry juice is nice and so is grape juice. It sure beats ordinary water or pops.
Cracked me up too... I used to feel the same way but sparkling water (flavored, of course. I.e, Aquafina Sparkling and Bubly) has since grown on me. Tonic is awful. Don't EVER drink it...
I, for the most part, quit regular soda and switched to Bubly. A friend mentioned his dentist told him sparkling water was worse than sugary soda. So I looked this up. Probably will still drink it knowing sugary soda is apparently 100X worse.
I drink sparkling water because I'm supposed to drink water but flat water is boring. Sparkling water is more fun to drink so I drink may daily required amount.
I enjoy the Bai Bubbles carbonated drinks. They contain only 1g sugar, and are sweetened with erythritol and stevia. They are delicious and full of electrolytes and other minerals that are good for you.
I say read the contents. Many carbonated waters have no added sodium at all. Club Soda however is specifically a carbonated water beverage containing highly softened water containing sodium bicarbonate. People on a low sodium diet should steer clear of it. Like I suggest read the contents..
i love plain carbonated water. I drink carbonated water 95% of the time when i drink water. It is an acquired taste. I wonder, once the carbonated water becomes flat, ig the bubbles are gone, does it keep the same acidic etc etc...characteristics?
Oddly enough I did read somewhere that flat carbonated water tastes different than regular water even if all the CO2 is removed. Dunno why, but apparently it does.
Zachey McZachFace would be interesting to do an experiment. Flatten some carbonated water and put it in a glass, then put some plain water in a glass and then get someone to try each and tell you if they know a difference.
I drink club soda all the time, it's an excellent substitute for soft drinks. I always feel better after drinking it and sometimes down a can before sleep for better rest.
Joe, what about the SodaStream carbonators when we use ordinary tap water? Do the holding containers have anything harmful or detrimental to the water?
Hehe! Classic opinion at the end! I use it as a purchase alternative at restos because it's a way to purchase at least some beverage. Also, I use it to make keto-friendly beverages such as iced matcha tea soda which is delicious with no sugar added. So, it's an option for those looking for one.
I have switched to drinking soda water (with a squeeze of fresh lime) instead of drinking diet sodas. I was 'addicted' to drinking diet coke and would drink it every day...for years, instead of water. I was concerned it was not good long term to be doing this. I tried a lot of alternatives, but nothing satisfied my thirst like the diet coke did. When I tried the soda water it worked. I think it is the bubbles in it, making the feeling of fullness, like it says in the video. I really like the taste of it too. When I tried to give up drinking diet coke before I always failed and went back to drinking it after a few day, but I have no craving for it now with the tonic water as the alternative. It will be interesting to see if I get a reduction in my headaches / migraines and skin rashes (as I suspected the diet coke might contribute to that because of the additives).
Carbonated water helped me loose weight while I was addicted to drinking soda everyday. It was a great substitute.

watched this video while drinking a can of perrier
JSGaming sanpellegrino is better
Same Bro
JSGaming haha same here but with topo chico
Same dude
Just got my sodastream 😳
Love the citrus range from Perrier. Used to drink too many sugary drinks. Mostly drink Perrier now. Love it.
I started flovored carbonated water to help me stop drinking sodas. That, and a slim fast for breakfast, and I've lost 76 pounds in 5 months.
On top of just being better for me a 1 liter bottle of flavored sparkling water is cheaper on the wallet than a 6 pack of soda..like legit Kroger brand sparkling water at my local Kroger is 59 cents for a 1 liter bottle versus like...3 bucks for a six pack of bottles of the average soda.
loved the commentary... "personally, I think it's gross"!
I have a SodaStream machine and mix 2/3 carbonated water with 1/3 mango (or any type) juice into my glass with ice cubes. Cranberry juice is nice and so is grape juice. It sure beats ordinary water or pops.
that made me laugh too
Dawn Shoopman ...I saw no need for expressing his person feelings about carbonated water. They are irrelevant to the objective study.
Cracked me up too... I used to feel the same way but sparkling water (flavored, of course. I.e, Aquafina Sparkling and Bubly) has since grown on me. Tonic is awful. Don't EVER drink it...
It's disgusting
I, for the most part, quit regular soda and switched to Bubly. A friend mentioned his dentist told him sparkling water was worse than sugary soda. So I looked this up. Probably will still drink it knowing sugary soda is apparently 100X worse.
What a nice drink

hits different when you drink this while driving a Bugatti.
I drink sparkling water because I'm supposed to drink water but flat water is boring.
Sparkling water is more fun to drink so I drink may daily required amount.
Breathe air.
I enjoy the Bai Bubbles carbonated drinks. They contain only 1g sugar, and are sweetened with erythritol and stevia. They are delicious and full of electrolytes and other minerals that are good for you.
Actually, it's the "natural flavors" of the flavored carbonated drinks that are unhealthy.
Very informative and to the point. Cheers mate
Watching this while drinking LaCroix 💖
His end comment @4:34 “personally I think it’s gross” 😂😂😂
Tate of course
I say read the contents. Many carbonated waters have no added sodium at all. Club Soda however is specifically a carbonated water beverage containing highly softened water containing sodium bicarbonate. People on a low sodium diet should steer clear of it. Like I suggest read the contents..
love how you felt the need to inform us that you think its gross before you ended the video
i love plain carbonated water. I drink carbonated water 95% of the time when i drink water. It is an acquired taste. I wonder, once the carbonated water becomes flat, ig the bubbles are gone, does it keep the same acidic etc etc...characteristics?
Lisa Doucet
No, it's not acidic..or rather it is less acidic because the acidity is comprised of carbonic anions made of the dissolved Co2..
Flat carbonated water is more acidic than fresh. Google it, it's a scientific fact.
Yea since they carbonate it with carbon dioxide which is acidic it would be though the level of acidity would be essentially negligible.
I drink club soda all the time, it's an excellent substitute for soft drinks. I always feel better after drinking it and sometimes down a can before sleep for better rest.
Andrew tate boys where are yall
Yup

I truly appreciate your honesty good sir! And thankyou for the information.
In Austria, Switzerland and Germany we ALWAYS drink sparkling water. I only drink sparkling water...
What is the best brand of prinkiend brand ?
In less than a week sparkling water has made my stomach feel like it did when I was young .Normal, not always complaining 😊
The sky is falling, the sky is falling. Sipping on my fizzy drink!
Great video mate
That is why I’m top G.
Great Job! Clear and concise.
Joe, what about the SodaStream carbonators when we use ordinary tap water? Do the holding containers have anything harmful or detrimental to the water?
Worst thing about it would be the tap water. Carbonated spring water or filtered water is better.
I love water so much,I always drink Perrier and other flavored sparkling waters, mineral water is just so good
I hate regular water. I love drinking flavored seltzer water
Thanks for making this!
Breath air
✨but No i pRefer breathing ✨💫helium✨
Hehe! Classic opinion at the end! I use it as a purchase alternative at restos because it's a way to purchase at least some beverage. Also, I use it to make keto-friendly beverages such as iced matcha tea soda which is delicious with no sugar added. So, it's an option for those looking for one.
My bro suffered with gout for years
He was told to switch to sparkling water by his doc and changed his life
I have switched to drinking soda water (with a squeeze of fresh lime) instead of drinking diet sodas.
