    2011-2014 have sunken intake valve issue. Mainly cylinder 4 and 8.

    Sounds like someone didn’t time this engine per GEN1 proceadures and bent the valves

    I have a truck same symptoms low compression on all cylinders. Checked timing still on, pulled cylinder head. Still off, sending it to Machine shop but looks fine. Wondering what solution was, this truck has an extended warranty but I need initial cause to show warranty company?

    Might have overheated the heads. several o rings go bad on the coolant lines regularly. Mine seems low on coolant every time I check. I have replaced the coolant lines to the radiator and expansion tank. Still leaking somewhere. Now it started missing and has low compression on #8 like many other 2011 5.0s

      For legal reasons I cannot divulge at this time. I can confirm it was none of the ones you listed.

    Hi when you turn it over....are you putting foot all the way down on gas pedal or just turning key?

      Just turning the key.

      U have to have the throttle fully open or you’ll always get low numbers

    • @joshsautoandcustoms9840
      @joshsautoandcustoms9840  6 месяцев назад +2

      @mikefoster4105 that is not an accurate statement. The compression test doesn't measure air volume. It measures the pressure being built by the piston compressing the air in the cylinder with the valves closed.

      @@joshsautoandcustoms9840 If the throttle is closed, the pistons are pulling vacuum, and they aren't getting enough air to compress?
