  • We look at the 2024 Topoint Acuity 33 compound bow. Axle to Axle 33", Brace Height 6", Weight 4.7#, IBO 338 fps. We shoot the Acuity through a chronograph with 3 arrows. We shoot the Topoint Acuity at 18meters.
I discuss how this bow compares to other bows on the market, what I think could be improved and how I rate this bow overall.

As someone who has owned and shot a Topoint Reliance for a few months, the only real thing I would change on it would've been the ATROCIOUS string and cables.
Anywhere there was any pressure on the string or cable, you could bet there was serving damage. Only just two months in and I had the middle serving of both cables (the part that rolls through the cable rollers) coming apart. There was also some serving damage on the part of the cable the draw stops came in contact with. There was also a part of the string rubbing against the top cam (due to cam lean) where the serving was getting absolutely chewed up. I had it checked out and the guy at the shop said they (Topoint) used absolutely garbage serving - he demonstrated by lighting a portion of the string and it caught on fire IMMEDIATELY, indicating they used a non-polymer based serving material, hence the virtually non-existent resilience to wear.
Their strings were also really thin - about half the thickness of the factory strings on my PSE Citation, and about 20% thinner than the Bloodline string I currently have on my bow. Topoint advertise BCY for their string material, but not exactly how many threads there are, so beware.
Also, for the first week of shooting, it had gnarly peep rotation. Everyday the peep would be in a different position compared to the previous day.
Given my previous experience, would I still get another bow from Topoint? Hell yeah I would. But I'll probably order a set of custom, better made strings for it at the same time from a reputed string builder.

I love my mission hammr. I will be moving up to something better real soon. Just not sure what a solid step up would be. I was told hoyt torrent, pse drive, mission msr and elte terrain. My local store also has some leftovers but the price is alittle higher. The left overs are mattews phase 4's. Both riser sizes.

Hate the fact they opted for the Matthews splitter and not a PSE style splitter... one is significantly more annoying than the other😢
Apart from that, I think its different enough from other bows that you could probably buy one and feel pretty good about it.

The Top Point stacks up to the new Darton Sequence. The Sequence is Dartons budget bow but has great reviews and supposedly shoots and feels like a Flagship bow

I would not expect to get free strings for dry firing my bow.. in fact I got a nice mark on my face for making that mistake after not replacing my strings for 4 years and shooting it almost everyday.

The prices for bows in USA keep going up and ppl are dropping out of archery hunting it’s a big problem in Michigan.

I believe if you set this up for target work with everything it would be great for you as your group is great there. Make a great review if you were to do that. Show everyone what it can really do. 👍👍

😮😅 Looks good. Loud but good. I might pick one up for informal target shooting.
Looks like it holds and shoots better than my 30" Cruzer g2.
    Thanks Steven

Cables/string are not covered by any bow company does not apply to the States. I shoot a 2013 Prime Impact that comes with free lifetime cables/string every two years. I don't change mine that often, but I have done two free sets of cables/string, & I will be doing a third free set in the next year or two. G5 Prime still offers this nice perk for their flagship bows. Thus, cables/string are covered for the lifetime of the original owner. The only catch is a Prime dealer must order & install them for you which I don't mind because they are installing a new D-loop, inserting my peep sight, connecting my drop away rest to my cable, and making sure it's set up perfectly for me. The last time I had it done it was $50, and I would have had that cost if I were buying new cables/string. My Prime bow has a 7075 aluminum riser instead of the more common 6061. At the time, Prime ads showed their risers being able to lift a Jeep Cherokees. LOL!

If the cables snap in 10 months is that covered for free under warranty? Reading the warranty inclusions it doesn’t mention the cables but only free replacement of cables every two years which is very generous since it’s a consumable item.

As a PSE drive shooter, it looks good...... Maybe splurge on a new paper target, when trying a new bow.....just sayin'

To me it looks like a shorter Version of the Topoint Reliance. Cams seems to be the same. No need vor a Acuity in 35" when there is allready a Reliance in 36" and 38"

Nice to see these Chinese companies producing what looks like quality products. Eventually they will start chipping away at the American market I bet. Only thing that concerns me is that looks like Dartons cams, and I doubt they pay royalties 😂

reality with modern bows, they way more expensive then they should charge. Never tried one, bear bows and now this company will force bow companies to drop the way over priced bows. ridiculous

No, don't worry, lol !! I just bought a Mathews V3X 29, I also have an Hoyt RX1, a PSE Evoke 31 and another Marhews (a Triax), I really don't need another bow right now, I was just convinced Topoint didn' t make LH models, so I commented about this, but it looks I was wrong !!
The bow looks nice for the price, I think it could be better than most american ones in the same price range, or even more expensive 👍!!

@@nicolaalberti7736 as I’m left handed most companies usually wait till last to produce then so when a left hand bow comes available snap it up. I started with Topoint, purchased a Trigon, T1, Repiance then a Sanlida Hero X10, PSE Drve NXT, Supra Focus, Mathews Halon Xcomp, Hoyt Ventum Pro 33, PSE Carbon Stealth 33, PSE NXT XF33, PSE Response, Bowtech Reckoning, Bowtech Amplify, Obsession HB33, there’s a few others that’s slipped my mind. Lol

All those holes drilled to bolt on that cable guard has got to be a serious weak spot in that riser, I bet you end up getting some back because they broke in have after being dropped
