Luke Heater Thanks for debunking the myth that Haiti is a dangerous place to travel too.I would recommend you and the beautiful young lady to learn Haitian Creole so that next time you go to Haiti you can communicate better.
Its not a myth. Under Moise, it is bad. I feel for my relatives there and the ones beheaded, for he was kidnapped, ramsom was paid and still killed. I was there in 2013 for a medical convention to help Haiti's doctors. It was rough. There are classes in Haiti, which you don't need to worry about. I am mulatto and was stared down to the point that a native approached me and checked my scalp to see what the texture of my hair was. You, just being a white guy roaming could easily be targeted for ransom. I wish you well, but heresay versus experiences of when my mom lived there and when we visited and from relatives who still live there, should not make you too comfortable. Hire a reputable private driver for little money and see more rather than just wander. The countryside is where you should focus, but bare in mind, you will be stopped on the country roads and asked to pay for passage. Good luck.
It's so nice to see your video. I fell in love with the country when I was deployed to Haiti with the Coast Guard in support of Operation Uphold Democracy. Since then, I have been going back to Haiti annually. I have a school in a zone near Leogane. I also have a tiki bar on the beach that is run off solar power. My Haitian graduates run the operation. If you ever want to visit, please contact me. You can see some of our projects by visiting our Facebook page at SoleilHaiti.

Thank you for this video. I'm Haitian born and raised in the U.S but i never to Haiti as of yet. I can't wait to go. Many people told me it's beautiful there. I love the video! Many blessings!
I got back from Ayiti 1 month ago and Ayiti is full of contrast. Beautiful country, amazing landscape, lots of garbage in the capital. Great music and DJ, awesome food, smiling people beautiful people, no road signalisation. Everything is going on at the same time in this wonderful country of mine. Oh, and it is super hot in summer. Love this country with all of it contradictions.
Thanks Luke! I’m traveling to Haiti next week so I appreciate this view of the country.

Haiti is fun as hell. Yeah they have their issues but what place doesn't? My family has property in the countryside (absolutely beautiful) there and and even a beach house. And the people are always so chill. People need to stop with the horror stories though. Smh
I disagree it’s you on that ,people doesn’t create the problem,it truly exists,,,,

My parents are Haitian and I’ve always wanted to visit Haiti but was told not to because of all of the reasons you mentioned in this video. I must say, your video has shed some light that has given me the desire once again to take that long overdue vacation to my parents motherland !! I even appreciate how you guys provide the conversions of what gourdes is in US currency. This video is awesome 👏🏽 👏🏽👏🏽. Thank you 🙏

Luke Heater Thanks for debunking the myth that Haiti is a dangerous place to travel too.I would recommend you and the beautiful young lady to learn Haitian Creole so that next time you go to Haiti you can communicate better.
Rouskey Carpel he fell sorry
Good luck.
Lexie vG bullshit
@@katsteel2004 my experiences there, so, no, not bullshit. Still can't visit my cousins there......
Thank you guys. Really appreciate it for showing my homeland in a positive light. Thx

I really appreciate this video, I’m a Haitian and I can’t wait to visit Haiti!
jummy fleury sakap fet bro.. I'm in NY get back at me
It's so nice to see your video.
Paul Cormier I definitely want to visit!
When I first started watching I was skeptical .... but I am super glad I watched it to the end!!! 😍😍 such objective views from beginning to end!! The way you explored had me in tears and I am so grateful. You showed my county in such a beautiful way!!! Now everyone can see that she is just misunderstood and should be visited more often!!!😍😍🇭🇹 🇭🇹
How about the food? I didn't see you guys eat
You guys are so amazing, I really enjoyed your video, positive vibe!!!
Thank you for creating this video!. As a Haitian, it hurts when people feel they cannot visit my country. Everyone please follow their example and form your own opinions and visit Haiti 🇭🇹 🇭🇹 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
Lovely people, love to my brothers and sisters in Haiti, we are the true biblical Hebrews who were enslaved; come back to the Most High!🇯🇲
My mother is from the island of Latorture in Haiti and I have been wanting to visit, this video just gave me the courage to plan my trip. Thank you guys!
This was very refreshing to watch. Must respect to you two. I will be following your channel.
thanks to both of you for taking time to show that Haiti is not what the media said it is
Words can’t express the way I feel watching you guys in my country and showing all your viewers not to judge a book by its cover or negative stereotypes. I live in NYC and I go down there at least five to ten times a year and I’m always SAFE. The country would be an even better place if those who are in control internally and externally gave it a chance. Thank you and God Bless.
One of the most real channels on the net.
This is what traveling is about. Great fit-seems to work!

Thanks for sharing your experience in Haiti. Loved it.
As a Haitian born who has lived in the US for over twenty years and reside in Las Vegas Nevada, I can say, this is a very beautiful video. It shows the real day to day life of most Haitians and I love how you guys experienced it to the fullest! I love the video!!!😍 I want to thank you for sharing such a beautiful positive experience and for showing the world that they shouldn't believe in everything they read ....🙄😏😥 Haiti is not as unsafe as they've advertised. I've been to Haiti countless times and never once felt unsafe. I've invested in businesses and real estate in Haiti and It's a beautiful country with one of the nicest people full of hopes and dreams. Please please 🙏 Come to Haiti to experience it's beauty, delicious food and rich beautiful culture!!!!
I love Haiti 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Thumbs up guys!!! Oh my! I am watching your video and I am so tensed, like I can’t wait to get to the end and make sure you are safe and did it! You are just soooo brave and sympathetic!
Thank you for this ray of sunshine you brought by showing respect to my people. All these images are our reality: we have misery and we have happiness; we have poverty and we have such riches as well.
I hope you will come back (when the turmoil is over) and enjoy the countryside, our mountains, our beaches. It’s a must!
Peace ✌🏽
