It's not possible just by using windows. you need an app to do it.

it needs to be to the side of the partition you want to join it to. so if u have A B C you can't merge A and B

You deleted an unused (empty) volume to free up enough unallocated space so that you could extend another one - all on the same physical hard drive. The title of the video mentions merging two drives together - as in two separate physical hard drives (english isn't too strong?) Might want to reconsider the title. To the inexperienced people, always cover your ass by creating a backup image of the entire disk. Good luck.

press create new volume and keep pressing next, that will work and you can format it (change the name) and you can change the drive letter (like driver e,f,c,d etc, hope this helps!

It's possible, but D drive will turn to be Dynamic Disk format instead of Basic Disk format. You can google the differences bw them. If you want to keep drives as basic disks format, it can only merge from left to right.

Very misleading. The thumbnail video shows a C and D drive that are large drives. But he only shows 1 drive that is much smaller with 2 partitions on it. In other words he purposely partitioned one drive into a C and D drive and then put them back as one drive. So this is all just one drive. Its like have a slice of bread cut in half and calling it 2 full pieces of bread.
