    Hi! I'm so happy you're here! I'm also curious to find out which of these 5 mistakes were new to you and are helping you to move forward with more clarity?

    I think the first mistake is such a big one! I feel like you just gave me an epiphany. When I'm not pleased with how my art looks I stop drawing things I want to draw and instead tell myself I need to just focus on anatomy. But I'm not actually interested in JUST focusing on anatomy, so I end up not drawing anything at all for long periods of time! It makes so much more sense to come up with an idea and then pause to do the dedicated research on how to make that idea look as good as you want it to.

    You know, I don’t personally need these tips that much as of right now because I’m quite a bit further along my journey, but this is a great video!

    Thank you, u such a treasure. fr to understand first mistake you mention required me six years of figure drawing and your video.
    actually you first person to teach me how to learn anatomy properly , all of my teachers always told things like “just draw” or “just do studies” and i feel myself just like blind kitten.
    so it was more than helpful thank you❤

    Thank you for this wonderful video. Would you give us a good arrangement to master drawing. (i mean like gesture drawing, proportions, anatomy, respective, and facials expression..) I find myself confused every time I carry a book or watch a video lesson. where should i start and what the most important to practice daily

    Hi Carolin, how important/useful do you think it would be to own a full skeleton to draw? Drawing is just one of my several hobbies but I go to a life drawing session every week. Thanks.
    PS I have the book you mention (along with several others) but I have yet to use them, partly because I wasn’t really sure how to. I mean, should I just go through copying all the illustrations. This video has explained perfectly how they should be used😊

    • @CarolinPeters
      @CarolinPeters  Год назад

      If you want to be able to draw the figure from imagination it may be a good investment. Or if you just enjoy anatomy nerdery. But if you enjoy drawing from observation just studying a 3d model may be sufficient.
