My uncle is a wildlife reserve anti poacher in South Africa. He showed me how to build a ghillie suit and I cannot understate how much these things make you disappear. I’ve had people walk mere meters past me without seeing us Edit: for anyone interested to build a ghillie get a base camo uniform, preferably jacket and trousers (jump suit can work) and a boonie hat. Super glue and sew a fishnet to the back, with extra going over the shoulder and down the arms and a small overhang over the butt. Get jute, dye it differently and cut bunches to different lengths. Then tie the jute to the fishnet using a slightly less than random sequence. (Try to make slight groups of colours but don’t blend the colours. And make sure to use random lengths of jute). Lots of RUclips video guides.

Or you could do the party cone hat for plus 11 perception. Soldiers foot wear for plus 40 sneak and plus 5 to accuracy and damage with military weapons. Ninja's pants for plus 31 sneak. Ok so there’s a compromise between effectiveness and ease of use. A full Ghillie is very effective but it’s hot and heavy and useless unless stalking. A compromise is a ghillie cape made from a piece of sniper veil material, cut a split in the veil and tie the corners to the edge forming a loop for your arms. Then add your jute material to the cape, again the compromise here is the more you add the more bulky this will be but the better the camouflage. Pair this with a boonie hat with netting stitched to the top and jute added and you have a fairly effective system that can be easily slipped on and off and fits in the pocket of your cargo pants.

In the American war of independence Washington had German/Swiss jägers armed with early accurate rifles and they took out from distance first the Indian scouts or at least a few and the rest ran away then the officers.
The video nails it. The object is to be a expert shot and a poor target. Being virtually invisible helps in this job Even in US Civil War, Berdans Sharpshooters wore an early and quite effective camouflage.
Fun fact: In Finnish army The Ghillie suits have a nickname "Röllipuku" which comes from Rölli (Finnish 1980s children TV-show about a hilarious troll who lives in forest and is pretty clumsy with his movement). This channel never disappoints another fantastic video!
8:10 Is that the predator's visor noise I hear? Nice!
In the American war of independence Washington had German/Swiss jägers armed with early accurate rifles and they took out from distance first the Indian scouts or at least a few and the rest ran away then the officers.
There's a 1993 movie called Sniper, 2 Americans get sent to take out a drug lord. The jungle scenes are the best part.

False! He was Lieutenant during this mission!
This feels like an actual good lesson
1:35 “It’s now or never, take the shot!”
Literally every campaign fps ever : “you take one, i take the other” “on my mark, go” “go now” “WE’VE BEEN COMPROMISED”
Probably not a common comment, but I have to give Simple History some props for putting so much effort into their advertisements!
The video nails it. The object is to be a expert shot and a poor target. Being virtually invisible helps in this job Even in US Civil War, Berdans Sharpshooters wore an early and quite effective camouflage.
“Target down, I think you blew off his arm, shock and blood loss will do the rest” Captain Macmillan
Fun fact: In Finnish army The Ghillie suits have a nickname "Röllipuku" which comes from Rölli (Finnish 1980s children TV-show about a hilarious troll who lives in forest and is pretty clumsy with his movement).
And the word "puku" obviously means suit.
Edit:
Rölli was also voted #1 The Fictional Finns in 2006 :D
You can see why ruclips.net/video/1UkyxvtS7vc/видео.html

You can hide yourself from thermal with a space blanket that’s how the Taliban does it
@@leonardoisidoro3224 I doubt that it's more than a fairly short-term solution, suitable if there is a helo in the vicinity which will likely have FLIR, but not so useful against most moderate to large drones (which fly high enough to be undetectable for anyone on the ground, yet they're perfectly capable of detecting ground threats). Aluminium blankets will cause you to overheat very quickly in warm climates.

Well we fought all night, side be side,
took our battle stance
And I wonder how the bullets miss this man
It's happening again, recently I've been interested in ghillie (from games and irl) and I remembered I used to watch this channel. Out of literally nowhere, this video appears.
Imagine you accidentally shoot a bullet and then you hit someone with that suit
Imagine you get hit by a sniper and the last thing you see is a guy wearing grass teabagging on you
