- Batu Caves in Kuala Lumpur is famous for the enormous Lord Murugan statue welcoming visitors and is certainly among the top places to visit in Malaysia. Batu Caves has various temples and caves, but most visitors will simply climb the 272 steps until the top for amazing and free indoor and outdoor views. This is where the spectacular Thaipusam festival is held in January or February of each year. Join us in this Batu Caves tour and learn how to get there and what to do.
We close the day at the Petronas Twin Towers, enjoying the KLCC Park fountain show at night.

► WHO AM I?
Short answer: I am a Brazilian-American journalist living in Florida. After traveling the world working with sports, news, and events for over 15 years, I realized that what I really love is the travel part of it all. So I exchanged the life in the newsrooms and stadiums for the daily challenge of being an independent content producer. I created this channel to share the beauties of the world... stuff that for so long I only kept to myself. Also to help people planning similar trips and to inspire more people to venture out and enjoy life!
Detailed answer: • How we afford to trave... 😉
P.S.: The guy who occasionally appears in the vlogs is my husband, Gordon. He is Canadian-American and is extremely camera shy, that's why he's behind the camera most of the time

I'm glad that they repainted the temple and steps! It was sad to see how dull it was a few years back, but now it's so beautiful!
They did a good job! Wonderful place to spend a day.😀

hello Jack sparrow
I guess Im asking the wrong place but does any of you know a trick to log back into an instagram account??
I was dumb forgot my password. I would love any assistance you can offer me.
@Colby Timothy instablaster =)
Thanks for the Tamil subtitles. Murugan Temple was a architecture marvel, looks so beautiful. Pride of Malaysians! Cool.
Your welcome Rajkumar Velupillai. Reaching as many people/languages is important to us. Also, thank you for the information! 👍😀
Batu Caves became more beautiful after painting. Very instagrammable place)
The first train passed by is actually KTM ETS, an inter-city rail service. It will not stop station by station in the KL city area. You may try the ETS service if you want to travel toward northern of Msia. The service is nice
That's great to know, thank you very much!
I took a guided tour in Malaysia KL for a couple days coming from a Singapore bus trip. Loved that Batu Cave trip with such immensity of the Hindu Statue. City tour covered the King's Palatial home, Mosque, Memorial Soldier Park, Cricket ground and Gov't building, chocolate factory and the massive Petrona towers. I travelled alone but it was a fun filled safe experience. Tour guide Ben was extraordinarily kind and informative. Best of Malaysia to enjoy.
Neil Pedrosa sounds like a great visit! 👍😃
KL is a beautiful city
Bantu caves stairs are now coloured ..nice view
Very nice South Indian temple..Jai ho

Awwww! Thank you so much! You made my day! Again!!! 😍😍😍
I like to your vlog reynata
kartolo rhuddy Thank you so much 😊❤️
I second that idea. I think her vlogs gonna be one of my all time fav in youtube!
I mean, from her presentation, the way she speaks, her voice just blends in - harmonises perfectly with the video: like teh tarik not too sweet yet not too bland either, the length of the video is just perfect coz if its too long viewers will lose focus but not too short as well and I must give credit to the the thumbnail, it helps me discover which videos I have not watched. Keep it up!
The colourful country with the peace and beauty... I loved it
We do too!
Did you know that KLCC park was designed by the late Roberto Burle Marx, the Brazilian landscape architect? Sadly he died 4 years before the project was finally completed in 1998
Ted Asnan Oh wow!!! How interesting! No, I had no idea! He is very famous in Brazil. Thank you so much for letting me know ❤️
@@RenataPereiraTV My pleasure, Renata 😊♥️ He was truly a genius and a polymath
@@tedasnan And the Petronas Twin Towers were designed by Cesar Pelli, the famous Argentinian architect.
Love you vlog. It's more documentary style than vlog. Love your presentation. Probably because you're journalist. It like travel TV show. No unnecessary or overuse of b-roll shots.
I'm so glad you like it! Thank you very much! 😍
I agree with you 😊 her videos are very educational!

Long ago during my parents time. Going to Batu caves sounded like a Pilgrimage. It was what the common folks talked about when the topic was about holidays
So nice, After lockdown i want go Batu Cave.
Yes, but go early before crowd and when its cool...be careful the monkeys. Thanks for watching😀😍
As someone who were born and and raised in KL, i must say many people take the twin towers towers for granted and not realise just how amazing they are.
@@stanmy1832 to me klcc is just a beginning of what we can do. even after PNB is finished klcc is still going to be iconic. dont worry
I used to come here often when I was a kid especially during Thaipusam
So cool. It is a special place
Greeting from United kingdom ;-) Subscribed to your RUclips channel recently since you guys arrived Malaysia. Watched all of your most recent uploaded videos about Malaysia, is a very beautiful country and great foods around everywhere. Gordon can be quite humourous sometimes in your videos. Lol. I must say all of the videos you guys produced are very professional and quality. You speak really well like a TV presenter. The selection of music and songs in videos are all great to listen. Keep up all the great works. Can't wait to see your next up coming videos in Malaysia. Cheerio to you and Gordon. ;-)
Renata is so beautiful! I love her videos especially when I see she's at the same places I've visited too. Love your personality and charisma Renata!

KTM Komuter never follow the timing mentioned on the board...with the track upgrading going on delays are usual. The one just passed you guys earlier was ETS, traveling from northern part of the country such Penang up to Thai border. If you want to use it avoid weekend weekend...mostly fully booked.

Yazzid Mdrail, it was a fantastic experience. We saw so much yet missed so much. We look forward to returning soon. Thks for watching.😀
Iam visited this place really very beautiful ✨✨✨
Nice video. I walked by that Nasi Kandar restaurant when I visited KL in May. I guess I should have tried it.
Yeah... We had most of our meals in air-conditioned restaurants, just because we needed to cool down 😂😂, and I'm glad we went there for a more authentic experience. We paid half the price and the food was delicious.
U presented original smiling rare to see smiling like you. Thank god
1. The first season of the Amazing Race many years ago had contestants run up the caves with a plate of fruits and tell the host at the top how many steps it was. If they missed it they would need to start again. You can't really do that in your first try if monkeys were trying to get to your fruits!
2. At some angle, I swear Gordon met Marty Mcfly...
Tq for sharing your beautiful moment in Malaysia
It's a pleasure! Thanks to you for watching 😉 😊
cant wait for the Putrajaya vlog!
Řæívöñ 🤗❤️
Used a grab car to get to the caves in the afternoon. Cost me 15 ringgit each way from bukit bintang for the 2 of us. Pretty cheap if you are traveling as a couple or more.

Amazing video! Thank you so much Renata for making this beautiful scenes 😄 reminiscing exactly what I’ve done in Malaysia back then, visit Batu Caves & Petronas Twin tower ❤️ good thing you didn’t brought a plastic bag with food, otherwise those monkeys will surely stole your food, my friend experienced it 😂

@@RenataPereiraTV Do you have a video on where you guys are from, how you met and stuff?
@@kobrapromotions No... The reason is that Gordon never planned to be on camera and the original idea was just that he'd help me film... He's very shy. But as he says some funny stuff I started filming him and slowly started adding to the videos, hoping that he'll one day enjoy talking to the camera. Hopefully one day we get there 😂😂😂.
