Howdy from Texas! My wife went to Batu Caves last year and she loved them tremendously and hope you two love birds continue your excellent adventure in KL
You both were destined to visit a murugan temple. Even for a lot of people who live close to this temple, the thought wont come to visit a murugan temple unless you are destined by Murugan to visit him. Good wishes and lot of luck in your journey
It looks much better now than when I visited over a decade ago, it was quite shabby then and paint was flaking and faded. Perhaps the instagram/RUclips driven tourism has helped in that regard.
Just remember it is NOT a tourist's playground but a Hindu Temple, and should be respected as such. The temples are in easy access now. Imagine in the 70's the temples were covered in dense forest and it was very hard to get to the temples!

hinduism is the most misunderstood value system in the world. it is not like the scripture believers religion, so it is not a religion. the best way to understand is not through scriptures but yes by meditation, connect yourself to the nature and the energy that created the universe The wisdom that you acquire out of this, is hinduism. that is why hinduism does not covert any body like the religions. connect through meditation and visualise the truth yourself.
It's not worth visiting. It is filthy, dirty , smelly and nothing to see to be honest. You have just been to Taiwan and it is nowhere near to the quality that you receive there.

Nice! I always stay in the KL Sentral area, primarily because of all the great food options, Indian and otherwise. Thanks for the tour!
The KL Sentral area would be such a good area to stay in! How many times have you been there?
@@TalesFromOurPocket Almost every summer. Maybe 12 times or so, visiting from Taiwan.

Some of the garbage was the result of tourists feeding the monkeys. But the entrance outside i agree, town council should clean it.
The chakra is required for your spiritual energy. Without activation there is no use in worshiping in temple or church or any other place of worship.
Hei , its either you'll be in planet of the apes or any vampire movies....😂
