I won't say they are the most developed due to lacking of public transportation like train (im not sure about the bus service though), maybe Subang Jaya and Damansara are the most developed, but Cyberjaya and Putrajaya were planned quite well and allow for further modernization.
@faridah hanum yup, maybe it's a bit too subjective to say if a city is well developed or not. In any case, Putrajaya is definitely an ideal place to live in (at least for me).

Putrajaya is a false representation of Malaysia that set out to ethnically cleanse 1/3 if its population. It's a disgrace and short of killing people the ultimate expression of racism.
@@AA123TD Call what you want, you're just a typical racist Malay and I'll prove it by your failure to answer a single question, why does it lack any Chinese or Indian Malaysian influences including temples and churches and appears 100% Islamic?
@@AA123TD You haven't been iin Malaysia for very long then have you. Everything breaks down by race and religion in Malaysia. Are you aware of what Malays now refer to "Malay special priviliges"? Temporary affirmative action schemes that half a century later are now regarded as rights. Whether Putrajaya is empty at close of business or not (it isn't) Is irrelevant and you avoid answering my point that this is a city that by apperance ethnically cleanses all ethnic groups amd religions other than Malay Muslims. Shah Alam was a previous attempt at this. Of course Chinese Malaysians are doing well, they built and control the economy but do you know how much is tipped against them to achieve that, not attitudes but discrimination enshrined in law. You have a very superficial understanding of Malaysia and miss simple things like "most of my neighbors are Chinese" or "All the doctors I have had here are Tamil" that indicate racial divides. You shown how some races work hard and succeed while the Malays live off charity, do menial work and are futher behind now than before the race riots and massacres they created in 1969 You say "I am impressed at how all religions are recognized" but fail to inderstand how only one can practice openly and is fully funded by the government. Have you seen the Christian church in Putrajaya? Actually, have you seem any churches in Malaysia? They are forced virtually underground and operate largely from offiice buildings or industrial estates and have strict noise restrictions places on then so if they can beheard they're in danger of being shut down. Yes the holidays are recognised but in all other respects there is massive discrimination. Buy a box of bibles and try giving them away in public and see how quickly you end up in prison, even as a foreigner. As for you link take a look at the building and tell me whether this looks like a Budhhist temple or an Islamic building. You should also research who paid for this, if it were a mosque the government would fund it fully. Every last Ringgit of this is privately funded much like Chinese Malaysians fund there schooling and higher edication. You say "some discrimination", name another country where laws exist that favour a majority race over other ethnic groups. You have no understanding of how far reaching these are. They include (for Malays) free university education, discounted housing, exclusive rights to import/export, FELDA schemes, sole rights to own property in certain areas, automatic rights to own a business set up and operated by others, favoured status to bid for government contracts and much, much more. At independence the British negotiated religious freedom and equal rights for all but that was renaged on and in an act of racial spite soon after the ejected Singapore from the federation. A act of sheer stupidity. You saw "people stopped associating with people who differed from themselves". Open your eyes and see how the different races live apart. You can drive doewn some roads and see how on one side all are Malay and on the other all Chinese. You say "Don't ruin the progress your country has made" but without having a fucking clue about our history. There has been no progress just a gradual deterioration and a slowly simmering pressure cooker that following the next elections will likely explode. Currently we have have our wisest and best prime minister back in control but there are no other candidates in his league and all have destructive agendas. In five years Malaysia will be a very different place. You say "I see a great future for all Malaysians if you can recognize you are all Malaysians." Tell that to the Malays who believe they own the country and refer to other races as guests. This hasn't changed and if anything has got worse not helped of course by that idiot Zakir Naik who vindicated their racism. I despise foreigners like you who promote this myth of racial harmony and equality and you go further by making patronising statements giving us advice. You should be recognising the injustice and calling it out for what it is.
@@AA123TD The US is a backward place and so much of it is third world in both attitudes and infrastructure. I have to visit for work sometimes and I hate it because of the insular attitudes and ignorance. Trump is an idiot but the American people have got what they deserve and I don't see them recovering from their choice for a generation if ever. Sharia and Jewish Beth din courts exist in many countries but should never be allowed to supersede secular law, sharia in Malaysia however does exactly this. Some parts of it are very well thought out but as you know other parts not so and sharia courts are often unfair in their judgements as they're male dominated. Malaysia has very significant problems with domestic violence and abused women are often persuaded by these courts to stay with their violent husbands. Whenever I have spare money to donate most goes to womens shelters or our local orphanage. I use to turn down exoensive gifts given by clients but now use them to help good causes that need every Ringgit. Becoming Muslim is one thing but being open about it is another in a country where you're in a minority. If you began to wear a hijab you kind of brought problems on yourself. In no way am I suggesting the abuse you received is deserved but there is no requirement for this. Being overtly gay or atheist will have similar results in much of the US. Malaysia used to be very different and woman rarely covered their heads but Malaysia has a very powerful government department that quickly stepped well outside their intended purpose and built an empire that has control over our government. The increasingly conservative type of Islam found now was slowly introduced over time, so slowly that most have forgotten or never knew how things used to be. If you get an opportunity speak to older people 60 years plus. Last year Terengganu caned two young women and shamed Malaysia in front of the world. This was unthinkable before that and yet they talk of continuing this and carrying out future punishments in football stadiums in full public view instead of the 200 perverts who were invited to watch two women beaten and humilated. I bet they still masturbate over what they saw. Malays lost all religious freedom in 1998 so while you love Malaysia be aware things change, things are always changing here. You say "Things cannot change overnight, no matter how much we want and know it should. It is hard to be patient in the face of adversity. Rash behavior and calling other groups racist will not solve anything." You should read a little about Malaysia's history and arrive at your own conclusions rather than me colour them further. I could give you numerous examples in addition to those I've already provided but suffice to say since indepence things have got worse. You give away enough clues for me to know you've not lived here that long and for an outsider to understand Malaysian politics takes years and as a Muslim you will only ever seen one side. I have a rather unusual job that I've done for a long time and it's assumed I'm Muslim because of skin colour, beard, my study of islam so I can quote numerous verses, the fact I fast during Ramadan, how I often dress etc. Malays often have a hidden side and I get to see that more often than you would think but am still horrified at things they say even as recently as two weeks ago. You say "I know your frustrations, I lived/live them." but you haven't. Do some research on Malay privileges or rights and you'll see how other ethnic groups are not just discriminated against, they're discriminated against in law on a daily basis. They have to work far harder to survive in an environment tipped against their favour. As bad as it is in the US no laws exist like those in Malaysia. Chinese, Indian, Portugese and other ethnic groups are barred from so many privileges that are reserved for only Malays. You say " I firmly believe you're better off than my homeland". Non Malays do not benefit from free university education so we save and send our children overseas and if that means two jobs and working almost every day than that is what has to be done. That work ethic ensure they study hard and get good degrees from the best universities and many never return because of the discrimination they would face. More and more successful Chinese and Indian professionals and entrepeneurs are choosing to leave and many do go to the US. The Malays love this however it's people like this who have ensured Malaysia's success and Malaysia is losing them in ever increasing numbers. Malaysia's a great place and I hope you enjoy it here but they may be few opportunities for your children and long term residency can be problematic but what you see and what is real are different things and as I have pointed out Putrajaya is ethnic and religious cleansing. It's important to distinguish between individual Malays who are the nicest people you will meet and collective Malay attitudes that are rather different. Whether Malaysia will contunue to be a good place following the next election remains to be seen but there appears to be no good outcome. Tactical voting my non Mulsims returned Mahathir to power because he was Mahathir and was a strong and stable leader before over more than two decades. They're unlikely to vote to see Anwar Ibrahim become prime minister but the alternative is far worse. Either way things will get worse and I predict very quickly. My money is now all offshore because as history shows when the economy is threatened currency controls are put in place and without notice.
To the brother that is hating, i would like to ask where a question. How can a country that discriminate against other races and religion besides muslims and malays have a 140ft tall hindu statue of lord murugan? Why are churches such as the St John’s church at jalan bukit nenas be considered a heritage building? the longest buddhist statue(40m in length) in south east asia is in malaysia. Forgive me if im a bit rough brother but stop with the division amongst malaysians, i myself a muslim studied in St johns(a former christian school). Malaysia is about tolerance, equality and fairness. Im tired of people like you and our politicians who love to use race. I love ALL of my malaysian brethren and i believe we the malaysian people only want peace and prosperity amongst the race and religion. Assalamualaikum

My first visit to Putrajaya was just before the turn of the century and since then I have made many subsequent visits, either for dealing with government departments or to take friends or visiting relatives. On my first visit to Putrajaya, I had to park my car on the road by the curb and have a view of the awesomeness of the place. The pristine greenery and marvelous architecture, was so soothing to the eye. The lake was beautiful. But the guy jogging along the pavement by the street was making me extremely jealous as I was an avid jogger then. I had to rationalise, telling myself, some people have all the luck. Your capture of the night view of Putrajaya is indeed very impressive, and is a totally new thing for me. I have never spent a night in Putrajaya.
@@RenataPereiraTV the old name of Putrajaya was Perang Besar. Literally it meansc" Big War". It refers to World War 1. Previously it was a territory of Selangor state. Noe it is a Federal Territory since 1999. The transfer of sovereignty was inked brween 2 man who have family ties. The father, Sultan Salahuddin was then the King of Malaysia. The son, Tengku Idris was then the Regent of Selangor.

Benjameen Benjamin Hi Benjameen! That’s good to hear 😍, thank you! That’s because I spent a lot of time in Malaysia, not only the days I shot videos. So I learned a lot about the culture too ❤️. Hope you get to see Putrajaya at night one day
Ahhh... watching this reminds me so much of 24th December 2015, where I was witnessing Putrajaya Light Festival under the rain with my buddy. Truly a memorable experience, more than anything I've ever done with anyone else. I really like this place, with its shopping malls, food, service, infrastructures & facilities, also its artistic layouts and architectural wonders. Now, in the midst of COVID19, I wouldn't trade for anything less to be here, to be soaking in its luxurious, beautiful atmosphere. I always imagining Putrajaya to be the prototype of every ideal city.
Kuala Lumpur is still remain the capital city and economic hub of malaysia and putrajaya is the administrative city of malaysia...all government offices and departments were relocated from KL to putrajaya since in the middle of 90's to ease traffic congestion..but only 1 government department still remain in KL(tourism and cultural)😊

Hi Renata and Gordon, enjoyed your vlog very much, loved your vlog from inside the mosque, what a beautiful place inside the workmanship is something else, one thing I noticed was how clean and fresh things looked, by the way, is Gordon getting his doughnuts? HaHa, the food looks very good indeed, have you tried their tea, I think they like a good brew in Malaysia if I am not mistaken, their diet is pretty healthy, plenty of greens, fruit, fish, and rice and white meat like chicken, also they steam a lot of there food, which is a great way to cook, so thanks again to you and the sherpa Gordon for a very good vlog from the far east, all the best and take care, make sure Gordon drinks from the right water bottle, before he puts his foot in it HaHa.
Come and visit us again next year. There is more to explore during our “Visit Malaysia 2020”. Malaysia Truly Asia. I am from Langkawi. Langkawi is one of magical islands in Malaysia. We wish you Selamat Datang!
Gordon may not talk much in front of the camera, but when he does, it's golden. He is hilarious. Putrajaya is a pretty city but too bad it's not well-served by public transports. You kind of have to travel around by car.

Amazing video accompanied w/ great music as usual! Just a pointer - there’s so much more that you can do in Putrajaya! You could visit the botanical gardens, the wetland parks, not to mention all the rest of the governmental buildings along the main spine of the city which has 4 squares spread along the spine - the spine is the strip of boulevards that cuts though right in the middle of the city where most parades during Independence Day take place. Nevertheless great video and will continue to follow you on your journey!
Such an emotional feeling, as we malaysian, mostly complaining or comparing our country with others. But we rarely finding that our country is the best ❤

the best thing about malaysia is their cleanliness maybe as a muslim country partly playing the factor...one of the cleanest in the world and the food was phenomenal due to the diverse culture

Hi, I just want to mention something about what was said in the video about the rank of woman regarding man is Islam; (it was said: the woman has higher ranks than the man by three times), Actually, It is not about woman and man but rather mother and father. This is taken from the following Hadith (saying) of the prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him).
Abu Hurairah (A companion of the prophet) reported:
A person came to Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and asked, "Who among people is most deserving of my fine treatment?" He (ﷺ) said, "Your mother". He again asked, ''Who next?" "Your mother", the Prophet (ﷺ) replied again. He asked, "Who next?" He (the Prophet (ﷺ)) said again, "Your mother." He again asked, "Then who?" Thereupon he (ﷺ) said," Then your father."

I am studying in Limkokwing University Cyberjaya, very next city of it..both putra jaya and cyber jaya are the most developed cities in Malaysia
Very planned and love the green spaces...great balance.

Malaysia seems like a quickly developing gem, i'd love to visit
You shown how some races work hard and succeed while the Malays live off charity, do menial work and are futher behind now than before the race riots and massacres they created in 1969
You say "I am impressed at how all religions are recognized" but fail to inderstand how only one can practice openly and is fully funded by the government.

Hey there Renata. It’s totally right ‘Ayer’ is pronounced exactly like Spanish. FYI, I’m learning Espanol as my 3rd language and I found out that Malay and Spanish almost the same in term of pronunciation. It’s easy for me to speak Spanish rather than French (coz I’m learning French too) 😉😉
Keep working at it. Having languages opens opportunities.

We will return to explore more. thanks for the suggestions
Such an emotional feeling, as we malaysian, mostly complaining or comparing our country with others. But we rarely finding that our country is the best ❤
Yes, be proud you have a great country, comfortable of tourists and safe...with smiling people and good food. We will return to explore more.😀
