    I feel Malaysia is the best value in the world for westerners tourists comparing high end hotels, cheap really acceptable food to the westerners, easy access without language barrier as English widely spoken,.. beautiful weather all year long+++
    I am heading God's will to Australia this year, but I feel I will be paying double prices🤔🙄 for the same brand hotels,. In same period as I was in Malaysia last year

    • @RenataPereiraTV
      @RenataPereiraTV  5 лет назад +16

      Yes, you're right. It's amazing how much further your money goes in Malaysia if you're coming from the western world. It's also really nice that almost everyone we met speaks at least basic English

    Malaysia is the most underrated tourist destination in South East Asia. It has so much to offer, not only in the city of Kuala Lumpur, but places like Melaka, Penang, Genting Highlands, Langkawi Islands and the list goes on... It's a pity that our minister of tourism is doing such a bad job in promoting the country. Well, now you know, and thanks for the superb video on KL. Cheers!

      It is our local brown sugar also called palm sugar. It is made from a type of liquid (air nira) that comes from our palm tree called kabung. So the locals called that brown sugar as gula kabung.

    Here is how eating with a spoon and a fork works:
    1. Right hand holds the spoon, left hand holds the fork. Both hands hold them like holding a pencil.
    2. Scoop the food with the spoon, at the same time, use the back of the fork to push the same food into the spoon. Now you can put the food into your mouth with the loaded spoon.
    3. Other functions:
    a. Fork is used stick variety of food.
    b. Spoon is used to chop the food.

    Hi Renata. I just discovered this channel via a RUclips recommendation. I love it. Very well edited and your a good presenter. I also happen to be traveling to SE Asia tonight. Leaving for Bangkok, KL and Siem Reap Cambodia. Great tip about the buses in KL. I'll look for those when I get there next week. I have visited Malaysia before, but there's a lot I missed like that night market you and your husband ate it. Consider me a new subscriber. Safe travels!!

      She and her husband are not here in M'sia anymore. This video was recorded a few months back. Its a pity that we can't respond to her visit here live, while they're here. While her aim is to give a guide for other visitors, she missed our comments and suggestions, and makes her visit here more unique and fun.

      Good to hear you're coming this way again, hopefully for a longer period of time. Malaysia has a lot more to offer than the usual tourist attractions. That's what ashtriana1 is trying to suggest, visiting our Prime Minister's and even Agong's (King) open house during the Eid. You won't have that opportunity at any other time.
      What I would suggest is try to plan ahead and inform your viewers where you'll be in the next couple of months and post it in the Description. I'm sure readers (from whichever country you're going to visit) will have ample time and opportunity to give you tips and suggestions where to visit or what to do, relevant to that particular period of time.
      Love your cheerful face... and Gordon too...

    It's fork and spoon because it's easier when u eat with the various soups and stew that we have. We eat it with rice. So rather than having 3 utensils, 2 would function just as well, since we don't usually have big cuts of meat served in our dishes.. so that means, spoons (usually thin and a bit more flatter than western soup spoons) are enough to be used.
