- Here's my own Singapore tour at the Arab Quarter (Kampong Glam), visiting Sultan Mosque (Masjid Sultan) and Haji Lane, the famous Arab Street in Singapore city. From there, we take the metro to Chinatown, where we stroll the streets and visit the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple. We close the day at Pinnacle@Duxton, a residential building where you can access the rooftop. Lots of travel tips in between to help you plan your visit to Singapore!

Short answer: I am a Brazilian-American journalist living in Florida. After traveling the world working with sports, news, and events for over 15 years, I realized that what I really love is the travel part of it all. So I exchanged the life in the newsrooms and stadiums for the daily challenge of being an independent content producer. Kampong Glam is my "'hood" in Singapore. It is like a little village in the middle of the big city. Very cozy atmosphere. Stayed there 3 years ago

Skyville@dawson(47th floor rooftop garden/36th & 18th floor garden) & skyterrace@dawson(33rd floor garden) are great alternatives to the pinnacle@duxton plus it's free!
About 5-10mins walk from queenstown mrt & less than 10mins drive to the singapore botanical gardens.also,the park beside the buildings leads to clarkquay, singapore river & mbs

The skybridge you were on to see the sunset (but missed) is built on top of a residential complex. That’s on the 50th floor and there’s a jogging track on the 25th. This is the world’s largest public housing estate but unlike public housing in other parts of the world, this is very well built and maintained. A unit which is about 100 sq m might cost about a million Singapore dollars.

@13:17 - the Pinnacle @Duxton is a HDB project ( similar to "public housing" projects) . The main reason for the gate/fee is crowd control ( non-residents of the building are limited to ~200 people per regular day I think ) . It was meant to be a public/non-restricted park initially but it got too popular.
I could see it being really popular what a fantastic view. Brilliant the architect. Thanks for the information and watching

The Parkview museum is an amazing building , amazing art deco....but....over looking it was a little older mall, very much untouched. There was a bunch of workers lined up in front of a food outlet, a tiny hole in the wall hawker style family business. I had a Laksa.....well....it was unbelievably amazing, I practically had a foodgasm......lol

Another nice Singapore vlog. When taking the public transportation by train or bus, better have a Singapore Tourist Pass for 3 days or if you're staying for more than 3 days, get an EZ-Link card. It saves a lot. No need to keep on buying train tickets or by bus, you don't have to pay the exact fare.

It seems like you were in Singapore while we were preparing for Chinese New Year or Lunar New Year. It is a good time to come to Singapore. This usually happens during Jan or Feb. During this time, Chinatown is bustling with street vendors. And Having an EZ Link card is a good way to travel. Hope you do come again.

You do great videos with very nice commentaries. BTW, the Skybridge you went on top at Pinnacle@Duxton is not a condominium but Public or Government housing (HDB). This is among the newer public housing in Singapore.
