If I’m being honest in terms of playing, I enjoyed the Les Paul more. It has a chunkier neck that you can get around easier. The Angus guitar has such a thin neck that it’s not an easy adjustment. I might even prefer the sound of the LP. But I do love the SG with the lightning bolts!
Awesome video bro! I really like the colour and finish of the Les Paul, but Angus is the reason I picked up the guitar. And the biased side of me is always gonna lean to the SG. I personally think the SG is the best looking guitar ever! Wicked playing as always Rob 🤘🏽
@@RobGalley I bet that would of been hard to admit! Is it because as you said in your previous angus video, that it's because of the neck being super thin at the nut? How does it feel to play against your standard?
Were you using the same guitar tone for both guitars? I preferred the LP sound weirdly! Sounded more middy and raunchy. SG sounded more splashy and trebly. You could be mine solo was smoking man! Ha
Yeah pretty much, just added a bit more delay occasionally to some tunes but the tone was pretty much the same. It’s pretty striking the tone differences
I kind of have to go with the SG since I have the 2013 version
Awesome playing on fantastic geetars! As much as I love a good LP the SG sounded best to me, cracking as ever sir
Nice to see some love for the SG!
Hi Rob, they both are super cool! Which one has a better overall feel to you? Which one has better neck action?

I agree about the SG. It pains me to say that the Angus guitar as much as I love it is actually not the most comfortable guitar to play!

@@jamesclarke8831 Yeah, mainly just the neck. My Standard is a much more playable guitar than the Angus!
This ACDC Tone is fire 😍🔥🔥🔥
Thanks! I guess it’s the perfect guitar for the job
👍🏻👍🏻
Both sounded awesome, but I prefer the Lp for obvious reasons.
I'm glad you said that!

@@RobGalley Yeah I had headphones on to. Easy to dial back in though
SG 👌👌👌
Good choice!
Where did you find the Angus Young SG Thunderstruck and how much did you pay for it !?
I contacted a seller on Ebay & made a deal. It wasn’t cheap 😂
2 awesome guitars, but I have to go with the SG.
Good choice 😎
