Congrats. Bought my son a 2010 Ebony Thunderstruck for his 18th birthday. I had to drive 18 hours round trip and wait 10 months for his birthday to roll around. Drove me crazy. It took me 18 months of daily searches before one finally came on the market.
I am chasing one of those for 2 years and probably overlooked it some times. Congrats on this beauty mate, one day i ll have my own and surely ll be as much in love as you are! It just looks killer.
I have a 2013, and its my favorite guitar. It did take me a while to get used to the thin neck, but it plays like a dream and sounds awesome. It always amazes me how light it is, a strat feels like a 10lb sledge hammer by comparison. I wish I could play as well as you do brother 👍 something to aspire to.
Wanted to add that these are appreciating nicely. I've seen some going around 4k. No telling what they'll be worth in 10 years. I bought mine to play, though, not selling it.
Looks awesome!!.. love the dark rosewood board and the aged binding really looks great.. is this a 1 9/16ths nut like his original 1970 standard?..I have a 1976 with the same skinny but and after getting used to it I LOVE it.. the neck carve in mine is actually a hefty C shape but narrow.. feels great in the hand.. I also have an 86 62 reissue with Tim Shaw pups which has the thinnest neck of all my SG's.. 0.82 inches (20.8mm) at the first fret AND the 12th fret.. sounds great... Must play like a dream.. the seller must have kept her as a case queen.. great shape
@@dannyturner7967 My wife would tell me to sell it since it’s just stored in the case, but just finding it hard to part with it for now. It’s too beautiful a guitar.
I have a 2013 Angus Young Thunderstruck addition. NIB… All paperwork and documentation. Someday I learn how to play. Compared to what I paid for it years ago, the prices are now insane…
I want an Angus Young signature SG and I want one really bad I'm so eager to get an Angus Young signature SG but the one with the maestro vibrola tremolo
A question? ... that guitar can get new? since I guess they don't manufacture them anymore, and if they sell them they are already made from 2012 right?
Glad to see you've been Thunderstruck!!
Certainly have! 🤟
@@RobGalley you have indeed! Angus Young has possessed you and it’s not a bad thing.

I could be wrong but I do believe they based the specs of this on his 1970 SG!
Fab guitar Rob. You deserve this.
Thanks Mitch!
my dad has one but i didn’t knew that this guitar was so special. i’m starting to learn guitar so i can play it some day 🤟
So jealous bro. I love it. sounds amazing. Well done!!!
Cheers Kenny! I love it for sure 🤟
i’ve always wanted an angus sg
Me too man, Hope you get one!
Awesome playing!!!! Dead on. I have this guitar as well, its fun to play
I have the 2011 model which has the black ebony fretboard. great playing
Awesome dude. I am trying to Google the difference between them. Hmm. Those Joe Bo style licks are coming on too!!!
Cheers man! Maybe one day I’ll get them right 😂
They have the exact same guitar in a Chibson.
Have a 2010 Thunderstruck bought that year and still mint (original strings, too) since mostly use my 1989 Fender Strat Plus
Do u want to sell it

Yea but the high price ones are not selling, they are just sitting

those lightning bolt inlays are killer. I do not like the other Angus signatures. this is the one. so happy for you.
I like the others, I prefer this one though! I wonder how the other ones compare specs wise!
the black is the back in black one and the dark red is the thunderstruck i also buy one 5 years after the discontinue i have the red one
I was pretty sure the ‘Thunderstruck’ name was because of the lightning bolt inlays as opposed to the colour of the guitar
As if you had to drive to Scotland haha nice work bro, sounds sick
Worth it man hah 😂
First coment 🤘, you're awesome man. Long life and Rock'N'Roll 🎸
Thanks for checking it out early buddy! 🤟

Question, Is the serial number on the back only 5 digits? How many digits is it?
How much are these worth?
🤘🎸⚡🔥👍
Thanks for watching 🤟
