As a skater, I have never seen a skater wear a skater dress. I didn't even know they existed until Target showed them...
Skater skirts/dresses are named for their resemblance to figure skating costumes
@@bridgetbaker7529 Thanks for the info :), but I thought it was a dress for skateboarding, since you don't really see performers wear such material.
That dress wasn't even really a skater dress it was more of a smock dress, skater dresses have a more pronounced waist and are generally made of stretchier fabric whereas smock dresses are more a loose comfy tent kind of style made of woven fabric, that's probably why you haven't seen performers wear dresses like the one from this vid, cause they don't. I roller skate and absolutely love wearing skater dresses while skating cause they flares out so nicely when you spin
@@emmao6578 Lmao, not me thinking the whole time it was a skateboarding dress...
the "sorry, can't think straight!" shirt is something I would have worn in middle school 😂💀
EDIT: I would wear "if being gay was a choice I'd be gayer" just for shits and giggles-
Hehehe Annamarie picks the pink shirt with the white text live laugh lesbian then proceeds to trash any shirt with light color and white text. Love ya, found it absolutely hilarious :D
I just get bothered when brands use it purely for marketing. Just because June ended doesn’t mean you need to stop supporting the community.
Maybe it’s specific to my target but July rolls around and all the pride clothes are gone from display.. but I’m still bi the other 11 months too..
I mean, they're not supporting us during june either, they're just taking our money. I just like it as a social thermometer to tell me that the average normie isn't violently ill at the sight of a queer person
Literally had only been to a target for the second time in my life the other day and when I walked passed their pride section I couldn't help but be like wtf is going on here. Love the support but idk man
On another note the target was so underfunded there were clothes everywhere and it was dead silent. It was super apocalyptic but no one looked stressed honestly I loved it
“Not a phase” is great for us bi girlies.
and a*spec people
The phrase "Ask me about my..." will always only remind me of the 2006 film Accepted with Jonah Hill where he wears a hot dog suit and says "Ask me about my weiner"
Accepted!!!
Yes! Same 😂😂
genuinely an "ask me about my weiner" unisex shirt in trans or nb colors would be hilarious lmfao
“Alrighty well hello sinners” feels like a warm hug tbh
Idk why I laughed so hard at “gay listerine” 😭
Homophobia and transphobia can also be cured with a brick and a good throw ✨✨
Yes the gap in understanding can surely be narrowed with violence. Yas queen.
@@insederecit’s a joke. use ur head
"Thank you for tolerating the add break, you're so real for that" RUclips amideatly gave me an add.
Here's to hoping we'll get Aro stuff sometime in the future! I want fun and cringe Target Aro shirts so bad
You can get aro shirts that don’t support rainbow capitalism instead though soo.. why wouldn’t you do that instead?
@@injusticenation5536 Cause there usually aren't any just for Aros, and the ones that are, respectfully, that I've encountered in the wild are a bit lacking. I wanna see that fumbled attempt, to see someone recognize us as a market and fumble it anyway.
Killed me on the you tried for the colorblock 💀
at the very least, the swimsuit offers help for pre-op trans women (aka, a pocket) so that bumps it up for me at least.
The design tho 💀
The “Live, Laugh, Lesbian” would be really cute with a scrunch bleach tye dye design!! That would be super easy as a DIY! 🥰
There’s at least a 75% chance you’re queer if you’re watching this? Those numbers are looking kinda low team, I’d like to see a 10% increase by next quarter.
Got it boss 🫡
mmm, would be cool to see some ace themed stuff 😭, the blacks and purples are just SO easy to execute something well.
“Better out Than In” Shrek quote about farts and burps. i live
Shrek is the gayest movie in the world. i will not elaborate
bucket hats have definitely made a comeback at least in k-pop styling. i can almost never find one that fits my head but they’re cute imo
6:48 SHUT UP! IT HAS MATCHING SHORTS?!?! 🤩
I would unironically wear that, and I am not ashamed ❤ (but I’m also into tacky combos, so I’m biased lol)
I absolutely bought the Gender Fluid mug. I wish I were a lesbian because the Live Laugh Lesbian shirt is everything, but I’m just a raging bisexual.
I feel like what you do is balance it with just an absolutely abhorrent straight shirt, the kind that has a list of very specific adjectives about you. Keep people guessing by wearing one right after the other
my straight coworker bought the live laugh lesbian shirt LOL will think she’s f
as much as rainbow capitalism is eye-rolling, and their lack of actual support deafening, I'm just glad that being queer and/or supportive is popular enough for them to pander to
I wish they had aro/ace pride stuff is the only thing. Otherwise I felt like they were very inclusive this year! Which is what really matters imo
don't talk to me until i've had my pronouns
drinkin that gender fluid
Kinda disappinted they missed out on some things like aro and ace stuff
The bathing suit is made for trans women, designed for tucking. Belongs in cute❤
Not if it's ugly though.
But it’s not cute. The colors shout “Easter!” and the weird block shapes make the wearer look wider. Trans folk deserve cute swim wear.
How is it designed for tucking?
I like the one strap design but the color choices clash so badly 😩
Reaching.
People who tuck deserve cute bathing suits, though! Not odd 00s-child colorblock monstrosities 🤢 an adorable modern tropical pattern, a cute nerdy design, or even a solid color with fun texture would have made that suit worthy of the cute category!
the striped shorts and shirt combo would make such a cute couples outfit. one wears the shirt and the other wears the shorts
I love love love the black overalls with the lil rainbow hearts embroidery
I did buy them, I have wanted a pair of black shortalls foreverrrr (I hate belts and/or having to pull up my pants, I guess my body is weirdly shaped) and the fact that they had a little rainbow put these over the top for me. They were also not insanely priced like some I've seen online.
Unrelated, but you are literally glowing in this video omg. Gorgeous queen!!
I absolutely would buy a t-shirt that says don't talk to me until I've had my pronouns
You’ve gotta start every day with a fresh cup of pronouns
That “Nonbinary” bag teeshirt, I have one that says “Trans Rights” over and over with “Have A Nice Day” At the bottom.
Gay and trans visibility includes the text being visible
You know what I'm really here for? The New Jersey accent representation! For too long we've been told to tone our accent down, but I say no longer!
I've never heard that accent before and I love listening to it and trying to replicate those vowel sounds!
I personally love the designs more on the black end of the spectrum as an ace girlie. Black and purple pride ftw 🎉💜
me too i wish they had some asexual products we are kind of overlooked
I have the gender fluid mug, my mom got it for me on my aunts suggestion, and i felt so seen and loved. I really wanna get one of the enby shirts now too bc i wanna represent my gender identity this pride. Nobody really knows im not cis, but its still a significant part of me that i feel strongly about
Okay, off topic, but Anna is literally so pretty that my internalized bisexuality is shaking in its boots.
(Holy crap she liked my comment! I love your videos!! 🥰)
I KNOW
Why you locking the bi up? Don’t be shy, *set it free.*
*UNLEASH THE BI*
Literally the only sweater I actually bought somehow wasn’t on this list. It was the “queers take care of each other” sweater. It’s soooo cute
they worked with some of my favorite queer artists, I Scream Color and Ash & Chess this year which is awesome ❤️
Why is there never so much as an ace tshirt? Purple, black, white, and gray could make such cool designs
A bathrobe: "It's not a towel, it's not clothes, it's... a third, secret thing." So it's nonbinary!
i like how the most replayed section is at the end of the sponsor :33
our favorite mathematitionist is back with a new video 😊 💕
i am kinda sad that there is no asexual related items..... but also there is no target in my country anyways HAH
so am i
Capitalism doesn’t tend to push asexuality because the corporate elites are trying to promote hyper sexuality. Supporting asexuality would go against their agenda.
Me too. Also, nothing for aromanticism either (I'm aroace). But yeah, I feel like asexuality and aromanticism are always forgotten with stuff like this. So, I'm sad, but not surprised.
@@LilyGinnyBlack35 they literally mostly capitalize on gay and trans folks (and the occasional bi merch) and ignore other sexualities. V sad but not surprised, yall are so valid (as a nonbinary person who saw the NB flag exactly once in this video)
There was ace stuff in the last couple of years so it's sad that there isn't any this year.
32:05 I have worn a robe almost every single day for YEARS now & after hearing you describe them this way I don’t even want to own one anymore.
Not a towel, and not really clothing. The non-binary of clothes and towels
@@demon-misery7 That just makes me want one. The power of marketing.
Yeah I have never once wanted a stranger to come up to me in public and ask about my pronouns 😂😂😩😩
Don't forget the legendary Yaascar t shirt from last year. I wanted it so bad 😂
Opening a video with “hello sinners” while waving a lesbian flag is probably the best intro I’ve ever seen
Yes
Watched this with my brother (who is studying graphic design) and we both agreed with you EVERY TIME you mentioned text not being legible 😂
We appreciate your analysis and commentary videos on various topics. We will keep supporting you and your channel no matter what happens.
the way my heart shattered when you called David from Schitts Creek "some dude" LMAOO nah but you gotta get on that one! 💞
Please please please look at the Pride Bratz dolls made last year. They are a sapphic couple with bi and lesbian Pride pins and they make my gay heart melt.
30:42 I'm sorry "nailed it outta the park"??? 😭😂😂😂😂😂
To be clear, a robe is for: i would be naked but i have housemates
David from Schitts Creek sleeps with his bff and when she’s asking about his sexuality he explains that he’s pan by saying he likes the wine not the label and it’s a really sweet moment. I agree that it’s red bubble type merch though.
The schitt’s creek one is a quote from the guy on the shirt, He’s pan and that was his way of saying he was pan
This, but I think he is actually pan?..
@@ДарьяЧернышева-н4х I thought bi was an umbrella term that encompassed pan, omni, etc. no? I don't know if he outright said which he was, so I said bi to be safe
@@tomodoesstuff I don't think he uses the word himself but his dad talks about him being pansexual later
@@ДарьяЧернышева-н4х Oh really? My bad then, It's been a year or two since I last watched the show lol
I love the swim shorts! I don't like wearing bright colors because I'm shy and don't like to draw attention to myself so those would be perfect for me for pride. Love the overalls too and the bikini (but the fit wouldn't flatter me.)
My perfect Target Pride event outfit-
-Skelton T-shirt (with a few alterations to turn it into a cropped tank.)
-Checkered swim shorts
- those Checkered socks
- the flag collar (even though no Pan flag.)
- the rainbow tote
- my black boots
I have the crossbody sling backpack and it’s really cute. The zipper tags have aroace, bi, gay men, and pan gradients on them and the zipper seams have a pretty rainbow gradient. Capitalism really pops off sometimes.
That pink dress looks like it could be a beach cover-up.
Target's gotta bring back the pan flag bandana from a few years ago, like 2019 maybe. As a bandana-wearing pansexual who knows pun-fu, I need a pan-dana so bad.
I unironically love the Love and Pies game, and I’m so glad that Annamarie got them as a sponsor!
“I like the wine not the label” is a direct David quote when he was explaining that he’s pansexual because Stevie was tiptoeing around it using wine. I do agree though that it’s 100% something you could get on red bubble
Live Laugh Lesbian is the best quote I've ever heard
13:16 "Better out than in, I always say" -Shrek, the best gay Icon.
Me (a gay cismale) was hardcore considering buying the
Live
Laugh
Lesbian
Shirt, fr fr fr that Shirt goes hard
31:36 omg I actually got that one and can confirm it’s super cute, and it fits all my stuff without being bulky, I love it sm
As a millennial myself, I always find myself thinking the things people keep calling millennial humor are more like gen-x humor lol but its possibly just bc I'm at the younger end of the generation so people I see making those jokes are older than me but just older millennials.
Nah as someone in the middle of the pack with millennials, gonna hard agree on the "what about this is millennials???". Frankly a lot of the comments gen x was on the young side for 😂
@@RenaDeles it's funny, boomers think 'millennial generation' still means teenagers and gen z thinks we're all like 50 lol
i got the "boiler suit with shorts" and its actually really cute with a belt, got a lot of compliments on it
I love how every time Anna says "okay lets speed this up" she still proceeds to thoroughly explain every choice she makes lmaooo 😂
Okay, but the way I audbily gasped when I saw those orange overalls. They must come home with me somehow. I love funky overalls so much, and overall shorts are perfect for this time of year!
OK, WHEN YOU SAID BUCKET HATS WILL MAKE A COMEBACK MY BESTIE KNEECAPS IS DEF LEADING IT! SHOUT OUT TO YOUR KNEECAPS WITH YOUR VAST BUCKET HAT COLLECTION!!! (NEVER SEE THEM WITHOUT ONE)
Okay but Anna’s fan in her intros is just ✨slay✨😍 I LOVE it!!!!!! I need one with the ace flag 😁
