Coast Just keep in note that different states have different requirements, in Pennsylvania, I was required to do parallel parking before going onto the road, but I wish you the best of luck

i passed my test today guys, i was kinda stressing about it the night before but trust me, it’s literally so easy. i got to the dmv and i was confident, it’s just driving, just drive how you have been driving the past however many months you had your permit. trust me just trust in yourself

Just passed mine, I lucked out with a chill spectator but best tip I can give is treat them like they are GPS. (like their only purpose is to lead you in the right direction, not to focus on your ability to drive safely and attentively) good luck everybody

I passed my test today at 8am! I was so nervous, but I’ve been practicing and watching a lot of road test videos and it helped a ton. Just take it slow and easy. I was lucky enough to get a friendly instructor who helped me with my nerves. To my luck, the road test was only around the block, which was the route I often practiced on! She didn’t give me any criticism afterward, nor a score, so I assumed I did good.

@@atg758 registration, insurance for the car, and permit and proof of driving hours signed by the instructor or your parents. I didn’t have to bring that last part thoe.

I just want to say thank you to this channel. I just passed my test today after three failures and I felt confident while driving. I never thought I could feel that way and this channel really helped. Don't give up guys, you got this. I failed 3 times before I passed, just keep practicing and trying!
I just passed mine and all I gotta say is to take things slowly and just drive as you practiced. Also, I found that talking to the instructor was very calming. I started random conversations so the whole ride we were just chatting and I think that made her feel more comfortable. Good luck guys!

I just got my license! I was going to post a comment a few days ago saying that my test date was today and whatnot, but I didn't want to update that I failed just in case; but these videos helped a lot!
I have my test Friday and I told my mom and sister not to tell anyone just in case if I fail 😆
I’ve been practicing for the past 3 months. I take it in 5 days. This is the best video that I’ve seen. It’s to the point. It also shows and explains mistakes (instead of every other video where the guy drives perfectly). And there’s no distracting background music.

Just passed my test today, in KY, failed on 6 things but thankfully it’s still a pass! My best advice is breathe and if you’re like me I waited almost 4-5 months to take mine even though all I had to wait was 30 days. Breathe and you got this.

@@isrealmoreno961 My road test was at 8.30am and the traffic was not busy. You need to avoid every deduction on this video and I recommend you practicing as much as you can at this site. The examiner may require you to do parallel parking behind a large Pickup, which will be possible for a small car to park too far from the curb. So just make sure you can park it perfectly no matter what size is the car in front of you.

Taking my third test this week 😅 last time the only deduction I got last time was going 30 in a 25 (other than the automatic fail for stopping too far past the stop line) so I hope this next one I'll make it, I've been practicing almost every day and always watching these videos!

For anyone who needs motivation. I hadn't driven a car in over 6 years and the time I did drive.... was almost into a tree and right into a chain fence where the pole slightly went through the window and my mom was in the passenger seat... not in the middle of an intersection but in my own neighborhood. I never even left the house ....I was traumatized but I was young and things happen.. never drove since. In April around my birthday...I had my first driving school classes. 5 at 1 hr 30 minute lessons (90 min lessons) .... the only thing I had to correct was holding the wheel tight and going slower in parking lot when entering and driving. That's it!! My instructor was so calm after my last 3 lessons. And I never told him this story. Thank you so much for getting me over my fear

Took my 1st test about 2 weeks ago and passed it! Just make sure to practice a lot! Also make sure you keep checking you mirrors every so often and ESPECIALLY check them when you are switching lanes or turning right!

I got my driving test in July 23 and I am really scared and nervous, like I feel confident to drive but when it comes to driving test is for some reason I feel like I will fail like it’s the nervous and scared I get but wish me luck thank you
I just took my test earlier today, and I passed with absolutely 0 errors. My examiner didn’t even mark down tips for improvement, when we were done she just said “alright you did really good, and you had 0 errors”. I thought I would at least get a couple errors. I was also in an area I’ve never been before, so I didn’t know the roads. So my advice would be for before the test, study and watch these videos (they really helped me), practice behind the wheel, go over the handbook some more. And right before the test I suggest driving around the dmv or if they give you the route before hand, study it and drive it. On the day of your appointment, make sure to take deep breaths and don’t work yourself up. I know it’s hard, but keep telling yourself you’ll pass and everything will go smooth, it’s just like driving any other time. During the test, make sure to be kind to your examiner, say yes ma’am/yes sir, be confident. You can tell them you’re a little nervous but that it won’t affect your driving ability. Ask questions if you have to, they appreciate that and see that as you being serious about driving. Make sure and listen to what they tell you to do and if you don’t hear them ask nicely to please repeat the instruction, and do not think about what they’re writing on your score sheet. Imagine you’re driving with a friend/family member, or like my examiner said “imagine you’re alone and I’m not in the car, and remember all roads are the same and you will perform them same as you usually do”. Make sure to look over your shoulder, use turn signals, yield to pedestrians/cars when necessary. Exaggerate those head movements so they can see you checking for traffic/hazards/blind spots, and check mirrors frequently. You will do just fine. Just breathe and try not to let your nerves get the best of you. Also, make sure and go to the bathroom before hand so you don’t have to during the test lol, I know that seems funny but nerves can make you feel like having to pee. Anyway, I wish you the best! And remember, if you do fail, it’s not the end of the world and you can take it again. Practice, practice!

Have my test tomorrow Cali. For reversing should you look soley through your rear mirror or can you just use your side mirrors
You should use both mirrors to show the examiner that you’re careful, but also focus on the side mirrors since you’ll be trying to not hit the curb, pedestrians or cars behind you. Just make sure you keep your wheels straight while looking at the mirror and take your time. Good luck!!!

Lol wtf is this!? This must be the easiest mode of all easy modes for a road test! Compared to the Castle Hills location in Bronx, NY where the driving school I went to took me to take my road test, this is so easy! When I took my road test, there were moderate amount of traffic, I had to parallel park in a tight spot between two SUVs, and do a U-Turn in a small street, then on the main street heading back to the road test site, there was a 3 way line, and the road test examiner had me do lane-switching as part of the test on our way back. But I still passed though.
I’m about to take mine in three months and in my understanding we literally drive around town and park in the curb that’s literally it

Out in the Midwest you get nice wide roads like this all the time. We are spoiled with them, but we are fine drivers. Fine roads make fine drivers lol.

Hi everyone, I unfortunately did not pass. My test was going extremely well. I didn’t look at my blind spot while merging through a bike lane. So it ended up being an automatic disqualification. Here’s to next time !

Any one else take their test at this location, (it is east Rochester NY). One thing to look out for is there is a hard to see school zone sign.
I have a question. On the drive test in California can I make a right turn at a red light or should I wait til it turns green?
It depends on the road sign, if it does not say no turning on red light, just yield and you're okay to proceed with caution.
