Realest shit I read
After failing my driving test twice, I finally got my license without having to retake the test. I noticed that many instructors seem to fail students on purpose, probably because it helps them make more money when we have to come back for another try. To get around this, I decided to contact a licensed DMV agent who assisted me in writing a letter to request a provisional license. Thanks to their help, a Class D license was delivered right to my mailbox!

@@lillywilder8061 they’re not supposed to trick you. All that does is increase accident probability, and if you’re an examiner doing this, you shouldn’t have the title in the first place.
@@AustinMar46 yes they are because like Lilly said, it’s to see if you’re going to or not. If you know how to actually drive legally and safely. They have a brake on their side so if you do, they’ll use it and you’ll fail.

My mom actually taught me how to drive. Two months before my test she actually printed out blank dmv grade sheets. She actually gave me a couple mock tests. She would act as the examiner and actually conduct it like a real test.
She would actually grade me and then go over how I did at the end. One the result and told me where I needed more work. It was actually extremely helpful and I passed the real test first time with no demerits.
She did the same for my sister as well and it worked for her as well.
I got my license over a year ago, all I’m going to say is calm down. Every instructor is different but they are all humans. Talk to them before you start driving. Just have a causal conversation about the weather or something simple. Just be respectful and listen to the directions. Try your best and be sure to practice a lot. If a shitty driver like me can pass, you guys can all pass easily. And hey life’s not over if you fail, always got next times. ;) good luck!
Dude I failed my last test and when I tried talking to her before we started the drive she had nothing but complaints about the work day and her job. It’s not her fault that I failed but I hope I don’t get a miserable person next time

I have my test in two days and I’m 100% confident driving on the road, but parking (parallel and reverse) is the biggest issue for me. I’ve been practicing a lot so wish me luck😭👍
Edit: I passed!! The parking was super easy and only took me 4 minutes to do. The way I practiced parking was making the space smaller so I can challenge myself which helped a lot at the test bc the space they give you is pretty big.

I had my road test today (GA, 3/3/23) and I got a perfect score! Aside from the amazing professional driving lessons that I took to prepare, I owe much of my success to the knowledge and confidence gained from watching the videos posted on this channel (both successes and failures). I was nervous, since I’d just started to learn seriously after I turned 33 four months ago. I got my permit on 2/3 but suddenly felt I was getting too old to learn, especially while juggling family, work, and a masters program - I just didn’t think I’d be able to pull it off. I’m so glad I found this space and I appreciate you for holding it. Thanks!

I didn't even realize how fast those 15 minutes went by and honestly makes me feel a bit less anxious to take the test since I had one of my last few driving lessons today and will be doing the test in a month or so. This video was very helpful! Thank you so much for the small commentary on what the instructor is looking for, and as well making sure to note that the test isn't fully over once you pull back in! I would've never expected that to par take in the test as well!

Passed my test today, Had a Great Instructor. My tip is to schedule a behind the wheel during the middle of the week to avoid Monday Zombies Traffic or the people that are way too excited to go on vacation Friday-Sun

This is hard for me to admit , im 38 and have never got my drivers license. In 2016 i had finnally got my permit and was practicing, got in small accident but it did set me back basically for another ten years i stayed away from driving getting by on public transit and wasting money on uber ! Three years ago i had my first and only child , my beautiful awesome daughter, and i decided then i have to get my drivers license, thankfully with everything ive been given the opportunity to be a stay at home dad , and a few months ago i got my permit agian and have been practicing driving atleast to the store and back everyday or everyother day . Im nervous, im embarrassed and frankly ashamed but i have to do this for myself and my daughter and my family, take her to doctors appointments, school etc , please wish me luck and best wishes, im gonna take the exam by September thinking around the first of September. 🙏🙏🙏

I passed my test! Some tips for your. Practice your deep breathing, your going to be nervous. Don’t drink a large coffee beforehand. It’s makes the anxiety worse. Also practice driving around your local dmv. Get a feel for the neighborhood. If you are taking it in Daly City like in this video, the test route is the same some turns may be different but the lay out is the same. The examiners are professional and patient. You’ll be great!
I passed mine not too long ago on my second attempt. Definitely not worth the amount of stressing I did over it. When I failed, of course I was upset, but I used that experience to drastically improve on what I had done wrong. So to anyone having doubts, it's going to be okay as long as you know what to improve on and how to do so.
Same with me. The first try gives u an idea of what u need to work on. I failed and then practiced what I needed and I passed the next test.
Today is my test, as people saying got me nervous but as I see videos and what skills I have looks easy for me. still I have not practice that enough what it needed BUT I have confident on my self. Hope it goes well!

Update: I PASSED!!! Got some points for driving slow (I was going 25 in a 30, but I guess it makes sense) and for swinging a little wide on my turns, but I passed!! So happy!

It's fun to come back to these videos once and while i remember just being so scared and nervous 3 years ago when i took my driving test but honestly wasnt hard at all and usually last like 10 to 15 mins just stay calm and do your day to day driving and youll be fine

Examiner's who don't have the patience & talk rudely should be automitaclly let go, just like any other job. I've never dealt with any examiner with a bad attitude but if you want a person to pass you gotta have the patience & not get irritated easily. It's also for the future of our kid's. There's a lot of examiner's like that in the field, but this one was great.

I got my license in December, the test is very straight-forward and simple. If you did at least like 10 hours of driving and are confident in your ability to drive then you should pass the test.
i had to do 40 hours of driving
@@urchin13_ Yeah that is the requirement, 40 logged driving hours during the day and 10 at night. Almost no one does the full 50 hours and tend to lie on most of their hours. I only did around 10-15 hours before going for my license and it was way too easy.

1. Drive like a grandma. Seriously.
2. Take 3 seconds at every stop sign if you live in California.
3. NEVER turn right on a red light. Who cares if this is allowed in real life?, RED means fire, fire means bad, GREEN means leaves, and leaves are good. We are cave people and this is biology 101. Failing to understand this will give them plenty of excuses to fail you. Think about it. A random pedestrian you didn’t see, someone turning from the opposite direction, the examiner from the DMV speeding up on their free day, and… BAM, no more DL for you, and more fees for them. Seriously, don’t do it.
4. When approaching any intersection without stop signs, check for incoming traffic twice!, they test prospective drivers by the TRUCKLOAD, and they have favourite spots like these.
5. Exaggerate your over-the-shoulder checks ALL the time, specially when you cross bike lanes, when turning, when joining traffic, etc.
6. When turning right into a multi-lane street, ALWAYS choose the closest lane, regardless of you being allowed to choose any lane when turning in real life.
1. don’t drive like a grandma. drive at the posted speed limit.
3. depending on the examiner, you may be marked for impeding traffic if you do not turn right on a red light.
My test is tomorrow 3:40pm Santa Clara. Got all my 50 hours done including the 10 hours at night I believe that if I have a mindset that I will pass, I WILL PASS!

just had my test last Friday and I passed my second try!! everything on this video was very similar to the real test and my biggest tip is to not stress about it and to also make sure you’re always scanning before going through intersections.

I passed my Driver's License Road Test yesterday and I'm so thankfully to this channel for that. In the last moment, I mainly took lessons on-line from two channels and this is one of them. I passed even though I've been behind a wheel in my entire life no more than 5 hours. I don't recommend going to the test without any practice at all but in my case, I couldn't afford to drive a car for several reasons in a long time until now. I spent hours even by the early morning, watching these videos on RUclips. Despite of I couldn't go out to practice in a car I got in my brother's car parked on the driveway and although inside my mind, I render all maneuvers again and again to get proper assimilation. That was my attitude and if I could do it, you can too! Best wishes and Good Luck!

@@svs444 I did and passed!! Had a practice class with an instructor and hour before to make sure I know what to expect, kept myself calm for the exam and it went very smooth and easy. Just try to stay calm and do your absolute best!

Passed my test yesterday. Aside from having problems while driving and turning through intersections (along with being a bit slow while lane changing to the left once), I did very great! Also, I kinda screwed up on the backing portion, but the driving instructor I had was nice enough to give me another chance for the backing, which I succeeded at.
