I just installed 3/8 thick cultured marble walls on a shower stall remodel. It’s a combination of marble dust and acrylic polymers that come in custom sizes. Attaches to the drywall with an adhesive. Only two seams to caulk in a 36x48 inch shower. I would NEVER a install any wood product in a shower wall system. I find this video helpful in showing what they use is what not to use.
I cannot wait to have wall panels in my next bathroom. A few years ago I paid a lot of money for a so-called professional tiler to tile my bathroom with marble-style tiles. He did such a poor job I was absolutely furious. I think even I will be able to install these plastic panels. So, crappy installers who charge a fortune - do one!
Quality info. Thank you for posting. The volume level makes it difficult to hear what you're trying to say though. Also, I'm a big fan of acoustic tiles on the ceiling of your demo shower. I'll make an effort to really push those on the next bathroom remodel.
Thank you for this video. I like the sleek modern look at ~ 4:07 minutes. I don't see it in your website. How do I find it in your site and where do I buy it in California.
In this video there are both PVC wall panels (which are 1/4" thick) and laminate wall panels (which are 3/8" thick). They both have their strengths and weaknesses. If you need input on both you can call 877-668-5888 - Mike
Where about can you purchase these panels? I am in the Okanagan BC and have been searching for bath panels to renovate a bathroom. I see from later comments that sales are limited to United States.Any suppliers in Canada?
Hey Angus, I see there is a Bath Planet in Vancouver.. which is somewhat close. They have great wall panels, but would likely need to install them themselves. There are a few other Bath Planet dealers in Canada, but mostly in USA
Eric - it really depends on the system of waterproof wall panels. But in the best systems there's usually a inside corner profile and sealant used in the corners and in the laminate wall panels there's a 'base profile' at the bottom and sealant. These are the key places to pay attention to with grout free systems! Mike
This guy is hilarious and so honest. I love it. I renovate homes to sell or rent them off and am looking for a easier and quicker solution to 'tile over tile'. Do you guys ship to the Netherlands for a reasonable price?
Dennis - I'm glad you like it. We do have a dealership program for contractors to support the sales of these wall panels, bases, and complete shower kit systems. Here's a link - (and let me know if I can assist you further - Mike) - innovatebuildingsolutions.com/dealers/
Donna, We would love to help you out! We can supply and ship the material directly to you. If you would like to learn more, feel free to call us 1-877-668-5888 and one of our experienced staff members will be able to help you out!
Too many surfaces that can leak water. Each panel 4 sides and now multiply that by each panel so you are talking about over 100.What is the chance the glue fails mold grows behind? I think good chance.
Ruben, Thanks for your comment! These wall panels actually have a lifetime warranty. And with the aqua lock system used to interlock these two panels together plus the sealant, there is no way for water to get behind these panels.
As soon as he said “thats a pile of crap” i trusted his word
That's funny. Our goal in these videos is to be as real as possible - no corporate B.S. language here!

I would totally agree. Not wise to put wood in a constantly wet location
I've seen a lot of cultured marble. It is a good material but most of it does not look like real marble.
Excellent ‘how to’ tutorial, I’m looking into these tiles right away to cover existing acrylic shower panels

Grant - you’re right about the volume level- and as you might have guessed this shower is in a display in our offices - therefore the acoustic tiles

I'm curious about these products but haven't seen any real reviews..has anyone tried this??
whats the price .. u talk alot about the product but dont mention pricing?? not even in your website
Prices on materials varies widely. I’m guessing you would have to have someone quote your job individually
can you put these tiles over ceramic tile in shower?
You can - but we recommend usually removing old tile so you'll be sure there won't be any mold behind the tile
Thanks for Great Video! Will be goin to website. Always seeking new systems to offer clients. 💖💪😎🤙💖

Right just like a flashing a roof pretty sure they thought of this when they created just work it up from the bottom to the top
You must be living in Mars. 🙄
Hi Ruben, how many sides does a tile have?
You lost me at plywood
I understand - it’s a marine grade plywood- the same material used on boats
Exactly
