How do you repair a hairline crack on these materials? I have a brown marble color design. I have a hair line crack that was once repaired when the house was built under a new home warranty but I noticed the other day the crack has exposed it self again to when you can feel it when you try to scratch your nail over it or rub your hand over it. I’m assuming the house must settled some more after 10yrs. I believe I have the miter edge style. I don’t have any grout in the shower.
@@SawHorseDesignBuild thanks for the reply. House is no longer in warranty ( it’ll be 11yrs) in a few months. The way they throw up these homes in 90 day’s is ridiculous. Almost no integrity behind the work.. I’ll just have to take a pic and take it to local hardware and ask what materials I would need to try to diy. Before it continues spreading up the wall or worse.
Love this. Are you located in Texas? I have a solid slab shower wall (3 sides) panels enclosed with glass. One slab is coming off the wall on one corner, where my door is now not level. Do you have a way to glue and PUSH back to the wall?
We are in GA. I would reach out to a countertop installer to see if they can have a repair tech assist you. Most of them should have the tools to be able to fix them.
Good point. Smaller tiles to create surface tension and help reduce slips. There are also large format tiles that have lots of texture that can give you the same benefits.
@@SawHorseDesignBuild Have you heard of possigrip? Used normally in hotel floors, but used it on a huge indoor parking area where the floor was done smooth. Power company trucks would come in this huge 600’ long heated parking garage and the snow would melt and floors were super slick. The possigrip raises when wet and created friction and stop fails and accidents. Has to be prepped correctly and reapplied every 10 years.
The material is beautiful, like marble. But I was looking for an FRP smooth panel with a marble look finish for bathroom in my RV. It has to be light and flexible. Too bad this is not it. By the way, what is a guy with long braided hair doing in construction. Tie it back. This is not a fashion show, and you need to be safe around tools.
Thanks for your concern. This was filmed right after the lockdown. We were able to film without getting in trouble since construction was considered essential. Hollywood also has access to rapid testing and other measures which are not reasonable for us to use at this time.

Yessss because I can not fathom having to grout after totally remodeling
These panels are gaining popularity and are more durable that standard tiled enclosures as well.

Grout free is the way to go since it requires less long term maintenance and looks better.
Grout is trash no matter the quality. So many other options these days like this, porcelain slabs, dekton, microcement etc etc

Most countertop installers can make repairs or know someone that can make repairs.

I would check with a local installer to get a quote. There are lots of variables and I believe they only sell it with installation.
Can I use grout on it to change color oft lines?
Are you referring to the pattern on the panels? These are not designed for grout.
Do you have to use grout lines?
You can get full sheets of the product so you don't have breaks in the pattern or need grout
