Terrific blended whisky!! I agree that the packaging could be a bit more classy but I also hate the add on in cost due to expensive packaging! The scotch expressions in this Johnnie Walker are a lovely blend. I think it’s very well done. It’s a lovely dram!! Cheers!
Cheers for the review Toby. I didn’t realise what was in this version of JW. Good to know. Recently tried a Glen Elgin and loved it. It was described as an overlooked distillery.
P.S. I would like to see Johnnie Walker elevate their ABV at least in this expression and the Blue Label and the selections that rank above the Blue. I’d never pay the cost for the selections above the Blue Label! Insane and there are so much better for such a high cost.
Bought two bottles today - Green label and 18-YO. I didn't like the Green label at all - way too smoky for my taste. Will share my thoughts about the 18 year old later this week.
@Shared The 18-YO was amazing - very smooth and almost without any smoke. For my taste it was perfect, for my wallet - not so much :) It reminded me of Gentleman Jack.

Thanks for watching. This is a well balanced whisky and with a buy under £70. It can sometimes hit £55.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts here. It is a little costly around here, but I'd love to try the 18 one day too.
I'd say, it's nice but don't worry too much, there are better whiskies out there for the money.
@@WhiskyShared thanks. I'll wait for a sale then!
