I just bought a 1 Liter bottle of Johnnie Walker Blue Label Casks Edition 55.8% ABV. It arrived yesterday. Man! You had me craving for a taste test. Thanks for the awesome review, Sir Horst Luening, the great whiskey connoisseur!
I have been thinking about buying a bottle of this one, since i have been wanting to try and taste this one for a long long time now, but if im going to get my hands on a bottle of this i will have to pay a 199 $ or 199 £ for 700 ml, so any of you who have tried it or not, is it worth its money?
+Truthspoon I doubt very much that he has. I have and I own a bottle which I purchased at $225 USD. It's incredible and would be worth it at twice the price.
@@MadisonTen cask strength are not much more to be honest. For example ,you can pick up a bottle of glenallarcie 10y cask strength for only a little over £50.And that's a seriously tasty dram.
Far superior in your opinion, sure. I do agree Blue is probably overpriced, but is also very delicious in its own right. I don't really think it serves to compare with the whiskies you've mentioned, given those are peated Islay whiskies. Something quite different to the blended Walker whiskies.
i mean, a really old age stated cask strength single malt would definitely be. that's a very reasonable price for one of those, because it's just about the best experience you could wish for in whisky

man, i love horst. when is he coming out with the t-shirts with his face on them?
I never tried the blue label but I have tried all the other range and I must say I really enjoy the gold reserve as an every day drink.
Is this better than king George v? I own both but I don’t know which one to open first.
Nope. KGV is higher quality than Blue, however KGV is 40% I believe.
I tried it and loved it but I don’t know much. What do you think is it worth the price?
What happened to the Macallan series?

Dude ur such a legend
Price ?
It’s £295 in a store close to me. Not cheap
Interesting
For the price of a bottle of blue label you can buy a 750 Ml bottle of each whisky that makes the blend
Not worth the price, there are many whiskies out there just as good but are way less in price.

Definitely worth the price . This stuff is delicious!. Picked up 2 bottles at the Duty Free store.
@Truthspoon How do you wanna know how old it is? It's a NAS. Seriously, why do you even comment if you have no idea what you are talking about..
Freddie Slaughter u dum as hell
I bought a bottle at a duty free store for $135. Couldn’t pass it up.
jw blue label.A marketing gimmick. You can buy a far superior ardbeg 10 or lagavulin 16 or aberlour 12 for a 1/4 of the price of this!!
Mark P But they’re not cask strength.

Most disappointing whisky.
in what way? a cask strength blue label sounds quite nice in theory
This guys a little feminine.
I don’t see a dress nor do I hear a feminine voice nor do I see boobs so wtf ?
And Hector is a little stupid. 🤷♂️
this is 18 times more expensive than teacher's. i don't think that a bottle of anything does worth paying so much on.
