No matter how many times I hear this tune ,it never wavers in popularity ! Certain records over the years and decades lose their effects because of over exposure . Not this beauty ! Right on the money every time .
I was lucky enough (and old enough) to have seen Steely Dan play this song live on tour in April 1974, just a couple months after its release on the album "Pretzel Logic," and I can't imagine that it has ever been performed as well as this by anyone else -- including Steely Dan. The musical acorns certainly don't fall far from the Lennon family tree.
One of those “all stars” was a Rock and Roll Hall of fame, Jeffrey Skunk Baxter, the original Steely Dan guitar player. He was joined by bass legend Nathan East. Those two alone deserve a million views.
Outstanding performance of an iconic song!
One of the best singers of all time and the entire band is just incredible. What a joy. Turn it up to 11!
The only other lead singer ( besides Donald Fagen) that can be blessed to sing this masterpiece!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Kipp Lennon on vocals really makes this song.
What a versatile voice Kipp has. He really does DF justice, but he’s not limited to just one style.
Wow! Outstanding! Great vocals and musicianship. Making Steely Dan proud!
Great version it woke me AAAAAAAA±+++++++++++
WOW, that was awesome!, thanks Venice
Jeez that’s as good as the record what a voice and what a band
Excelente interpretación de una hermosa canción. Captura y respeta su espíritu original y le da nuevas alas!! Muy buen trabajo!!
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
I gotta see this group live!!! damn!
Does not get any better than this. Amazing job guys!
Been going to Venice the Band concerts since the ‘90s. Insanely talented.
Best version to me ;)))
A great song, and these guys can feel this song - awesome version 🎉

… and how - entirely in agreement - every version a is a new gem …
I absolutely love it. Heard it countless times it is still terrific
What a great voice!
L
Great cover! But the camera missed most of the guitar solo LOL.
Holy cow! The nailed it all the way around. Sublime work! Very impressive.
Great version. Hate it when camera persons have no clue who is playing the solo.
Reminds me of my favorite boyfriend. Sweet. Great band
Kip is/should be known for doing MANY voices... Simpsons included... damn, he nails DF to the core...
Wow... The way your voices sound together as one is absolutely magical!! Love it
Long live Venice! The BEST !! 👍
gorgeous
Kip Lennon nails it!
You guys are terrific! Awesome!

Lennon? John Lennon?
@@oscararaiza4853 No, the Lennon family from Los Angeles, California. Check out Venice (the band) on Wikipedia.
He is the youngest brother of the famed Lennon Sisters of Lawrence Welk Show. He appeared with them as a toddler. Great voice.
@@mipacker Yep, Kipp and older brother Pat and their cousins Mike and Mark Lennon are similar to the original Beach Boys in creating a family band.
The drummer took It too fast....Am I the only one who feel the accélérations ?
Wow! Fantastic cover!
the center vocal is Luke, so it's Luke's stage. When you get home, don't lose the number of telephone it says from girlfriend. Riki is Luke.
what a voice
Awesome!!
A wonderful song to listen to in 2022🤩🤩🤩
this vid blew me away...freakin' LOVE IT!!! better than the original!!!
No one does it better than these gents !!
Would never have guessed this is a cover.
Kipp Lennon 😃👌👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Criação musical estupenda😅😅😅😅
This is so much better than the "all-star" version with a million views.
I agree ;) A million views would be amazing for this video

@@mipacker Mix engineers matter.
If its the TEC awards show he is referencing these 3 were all singing as well. @@mipacker
A algo irreal no talento de esse cantor

Echt gute Truppe
Guitarist is marvelous - anyone know who it is
Very nice :-)
Kipp❤❤❤❤
MUSICA DE CADENCIA MAGISTRAL E BANDA TOP😂😂😂
Anyone know guitarist and personnel other than singers?
Steely Dan perfect copy. Hopefully a percentage of profit goes to Venice Cultural Society.
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
One of the best ❤❤
❤
Go Lennons!
Thought this is Donald Fagan,,how come?
Fagan didn't play the solo on the record... Eugene and Skunk Baxter were on duty
@@damamae950 I think both of you are misunderstanding something
switch to 0.95
0.95? Not possible on RUclips
Lead vocalist kinda looks like Jackson Brown.
Yeah true he does a bit
He's Kipp Lennon. His older sister were the little Lennon Sisters on Lawrence Welk's show.
Chaves metaleiro????
....sexy.....cinematic....
I hope Walter was watching
Jackson browne
Looks similar, but more like Kipp Lennon.
@@MSB-rq9xd Yep, same dude that rocked this same song with Skunk awhile back. There's a good video of that, too.
