Sara released an album! www.amazon.com...
The video you're watching also features the rest of the original cast from Spamalot: Tim Curry, Michael McGrath, David Hyde Pierce, Hank Azaria, Christopher Sieber, Christian Borle, Steve Rosen, and the voice of John Cleese.
Sara Ramirez's voice has the ability to belt like crazy, but has a deep rich tone which not many women on Broadway have.
You are right on❣️❣️👋🇨🇦
it's sara ramirez's world and we're all just living in it
Stand the fuck up and give Sara Ramirez a standing ovation. That was better than half the stuff I've seen at the Grammy's. I could listen to this over and over again and still be in awe of her. This is why she's a Tony award winning actress. It still baffles me how she doesn't have an Emmy for playing Callie Torres on Grey's Anatomy. It's well deserved.
And she was sick during this event!
i know right
The fact that Sara was pretty sick for this performance is a testimony to just how great she is!
***** Right???
Lorenzo Zapata Hahahaha OH HEY!
This was back when she was still normal.
she is so completely in control of her voice, its fantastic. Like...that sounds like such a simple thing to say...but she is in COMPLETE control of her voice, and she can make it do whatever she wants. It's amazing.
Every member of the original cast was amazing. Sometimes the planets just line up right!
lol her singing was so on point. I laughed every time. it was too funny. she is an amazing singer and actress too. I love her so much
That note she hit at 3:47 was absolutely amazing. I love her💕
I love her too. That was amazing
and she was SICK and has not been able to sing for a week prior to this!
God she's freaking amazing
Find Your Grail is my favorite song in this musical. Sara did it perfectly...and Tim Curry. I was at the show in Chicago where everyone broke into the Time Warp and he broke down laughing. It was great!
Anyone notice that the first verse sounds a lot like the verse for Take me Home, Country Roads?
Belt it Torres!
Holy smokes, I forgot just how good this performance was. I sing but couldn't touch that level of awesomeness on my most healthy of days. Love you, Sara!
Torres what are you doing? You have patients.
lol. but I'm shock by the way..
She actually got hired based on her performance.
LMAO😂
HAHAHAHAHA
Ali Henrich yup ABC executives met her after a performance one night and told her to pick whatever show she wanted and she loved Greys so as they say the rest is history
So interesting how we mix things, character with the actress. This is Sara Ramirez, Callie was going to become a character under Shonda's pen.
I wish she would sing "Do not cry for me Argentina." That is the kind of song for her voice.
Too bad she's the wrong type for Evita. She would kill that material. I might still pay to see her do it.
Calliope I mean the Lady of the Lake is really making this number her own and boy does she shine! So much talent and she's having so much fun
Omg if you hear it at a normal volume it’s barely noticeable but if you turn it down a bit you can hear Sara’s note at 4:08. POWER
Im upset cause they turned down her damn mic.
@LM LM Sorry?
i heard they turned her mic down at 3:48 cause they were scared she wouldnt hit the notes with being sick🙄
KimberlyLovesYa well. They were wrong.
why isn’t the top comment the story that an ABC exec was in the audience and asked her afterwards what show she wanted to be on and that’s how we got Callie O’Malley
Because it’s a non story and so inside baseball that it’s insignificant…that’s why
She was sick that night and she still sounds amazing!!!
She is amazing.
Can you believe it she had been almost totally unable to sing for the whole week before that performance? What an amazing performer.
144p, we meet again
Free Spirit Aislinn 😂
THIS is what makes Monty Python so awesome!! It's dead on and off the wall at the same time!! And Sara rocks this part!!
Tim Curry was just bursting illumination and joy at playing his part once more! It hink they all were glad just to get up on that stage again!!! What an awesome opening!!
I never tire of hearing her version...she's amazing!
We were incredibly lucky to see the original cast (plus Clay Aitken as Sir Robin, absolutely hilarious) when we went to the City for our honeymoon. There are few performers who can do what Sara Ramirez did in this show- true belting and of course a beautiful voice, but the ACTING while singing is the best part. She changes styles so often in this show, her vocal agility and control is beyond fantastic. She was PERFECT for this part--she really got what the writers were going for.
This is too funny!!!!!!!! Way to go Sara Ramirez and Tim Curry!!!!!!
"Right and left and up and down and all around!" HAHAHA! Does anyone else think they should have turned up Sara's mic at the end?!
This song is patently ridiculous and ridiculously AWESOME!
It's cliche after cliche and intentionally over-the-top, but somehow comes together to be genuinely badass, motivational, and inspirational.
Eric Idle seeming to take some musical inspiration from his late friend George Harrison definitely didn't hurt!
HOLY BIBLE. Sara is literally perfect.
OH. MY. FUCK. Tim Curry and Sara Ramirez in the same clip. I'm dreaming...
You need to watch the whole musical!
whenever Tim Curry was singing, i had to not blink, because every time my eyes closed, even for a moment, i saw him as Dr. Frank-N-Furter...
i saw it Las Vegas and i loved it and i would watch it again any day!
This was the first time I heard her & I was instantly a fan of Sara's! She's absolutely incredible and that voice!! So powerful! Love her!
I saw this on Broadway with my mom and I totally fangirled over her beauty, her voice and the dresses! It was an amazing musical
haha 2:39 "find your GRAI--A--AI--A--AILLLL!!!"
Tim Curry is amazing.
Gosh I love him.
And Sarah! WOOO! She gives me goose bumps! I love her too!
Isn't this the exact melody from "Take Me Home, Country Roads" by John Denver?
Hehe you're right
She was sick too! Atta way Sara!
Holy moly her range and rifts are amazing!
sara ramierz is just incredible
and the song is written so well to show her gorgeous voice off!!
love it!! :)

The slow motion part gets me every time :D
Wow she’s literally amazing oh my god😫😫🙌🙌🙌❤️❤️❤️
WOW!!! She has an AWESOME voice! Wish she was still in the Broadway version of SPAMALOT!
Saw it last Friday in London. I agree it's unbeatably fantastic and I've been telling everyone I know that they have to go see it!
In awe & pure joy!
Anyone notice the giant hand/grail Sara is holding on the last part of the song is on the wrong hand?
it's supposed to be like that
I wish I could have seen this with the original cast...AMAZING cast! :) Hank, Tim, David, Sara, I love them all!!
SHE'S BEAUTIFUL!!!!! Wow, I love that dress!
she is perfection! such a big, flawless voice and such reat sense of humour!!! LOVE IT!
And to think she now plays everyone’s least favourite character in the Sex and The City revival.
Man 👨 I just literally had tears 😭 In my eyes 👀 watching this performance 🎭 probably because of Sara Remiz’s singing vocal’s her voice has the power to melt the coldest of heart ❤️ if u don’t cry 😭 when you hear her voice than u really have no soul or even a heart ❤️
Someone I know just asked what/who is Spamalot and I sent them this. I can't wait for their response!
Omg...Tim Curry and John Cleese...would have loved to see them on stage

this is what inspires me and so many others to perform. such a beautiful performance
Nossa! Ate lacrimejou meus olhos... que voz linda!
I actually just saw it last night here in Omaha. It was so great! The cast was amazing but I wish Sara Ramirez would have been the Lady of the Lake!
Wow her voice! Gosh it's just amazing!
i have no idea why... i just started tearing like crazy, i was just listening to this song in the background while i was doing my work... amazing!!!!!
She has a georgeous voice!
Sara needs to reprise their role for the film!!!
Sara Ramirez has the most beautiful voice!!
I'm so glad I became a fan of musicals several years ago. And it's good to see many of you are discovering what true talent is, as opposed to the radio pop we currently hear. Now go see a show!
Cannot believe she can SING LIKE THIS as well as be seriously amazing in Grey's Anatomy!!! JUST WAAAY TOO TALENTED!!!!
my goodness, I'm so in love with her!
Whoa! That voice! Amazing! I
Jesus fucking Christ! Shit! Sara is God damn amazing!!! 😱😍
she's so amazing. she was totally sick that night and she went against doctor's orders to sing.
I saw the actual thing on brodway, it was so awesome!
3:46 and 3:55 are everything!!
Chris Fisher haha christopher sieber during that cracks me up
+Thomas Sheffer Christopher was my favourite from the original cast :D
I loved this show so much! i got to go backstage at the broadway show about a year and a half ago =D it was amazing ^_^
this was an awesome show on broadway. this is my favorite song from it!!! the lady of the lake kicks some serious ass.
Wow 🙌🏾 Sara’s voice is amazing!
I loved this show. It was wonderful.
I hope they release a DVD of the show...
Love love love this musical. I rock out to this musical cast album all the time.
I LOVE Sara Ramirez! What a talent she is....what a funny clip. Thanks for posting.
("God, the all-knowing and all-powerful has misplaced a cup?) I love that line
OMG what a voice.. who knew that sara has a golden voice.. love her.. she's so cool
The most incredible thing about this is that Sara was sick as a dog there but you'd never know cuz she's *that* freaking AMAZING.
Sara is one of my favourite people just for this role.
sara is everything, they are the moment, they are the star of all they do and its fucking insane. i still cant get their version of divas lament out of my head
Also I feel like this show should’ve gotten more Tonys and credit than it did
I had the pleasure of seeing her in this production. Amazing voice and I hope she comes back to broadway soon :)
I absolutly love Sara. She is amazing!
Ok, so I love all of it, but when she has the torch at 2.12-2.16... gives me tingles. She's incredible! And at the end, you can hear her over everyone. She totally deserved that Tony!
THrilled to be catching the tour on june 15th:))))
Sara you are mindblowingly talented.
omg she such a good singer !!!!!!!!!
AMAZING!
she has such an amazing voice!
SARA RAMIREZ ROCKS!
Holy Crap! Sara Ramirez can really sing! I never knew she had such an amazing voice!
She didn't lip sync. She actually went slightly off key during "life is really up to you" and if you look closely you can see the vibrato in her voice. Some of her vocal tricks match up perfectly. That would take some serious rehearsal time. She was a little hoarse during her acceptance speech but not enough to make singing out of the question.
OMG Sara!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You rock! The things you can do with your voice is spectacular!
