Great review Jeremy. You made some really good points a lot of people don’t consider. Nowadays you fucking have to cover your ass and the easiest way of making sure you don’t kill someone is by carrying non-lethal weapons. The way you described this thing just sounds gnarly. Can’t imagine being covered in that shit being any fun.
The university of Arkansas police use those. I thought they were orange tasers for a bit but turns out it was the pepper gun.

3:28 Videos of these being shot show plenty of mist scattering due to the velocity. Serious pepper gel spray like Sabre Crossfire could be better in many situations, similar range; more chances to follow what you're aiming at vs. discreet blasts, and it won't produce much fog or blind someone if shot too close. Also, a black non-lethal gun seems risky, at least during the day when it's hard to mistake for a firearm and can draw bullets.

Thats the jpx 4 l.e. defender. I would go for the jpx 6 ergonomically more tactical.

No the 6 is just like the 2, you can’t refill separate canisters, you have to replace the entire thing if you want all 4 shots. It’s better to have the jpx4 so even if you only use 1 or 2 shots, you can just replace those 2 canister slots and not the entire thing

The holster honestly is to big. This is better carried in a bag or in your vehicle
In my state carry of firearms is heavily restricted and it is also uncommon, I personally would not carry any OC dispenser that had a gun shape because it could cause alarm in public. It is also why I would not carry something like the Taser Pulse. I went and got the Mace Personal Model since it is under the maximum capacity my state allows and fits easily in pockets for daily carry, even fits in that skinny top pocket in jeans for easy access. Better to have it fit in everything I own than have something like that stuffed in a bag somewhere.
Carrying a pepper spray gun will not be my solution either I would move out of that state LOL
@@everydaybladesinc Not going to leave my state, family, and home just so I can carry a pistol around. Also would rather resort to an effective less lethal option. Like no matter what everywhere is going to have areas where firearms are not allowed and OC spray is, like a college campus. That also goes for "replicas" so an OC gun dispenser is out of the question.

yeah you gotta pretty open carry it more or less but for real it looks funky af so i put a predator style 3-dot laser sight on it for absolutely no reason on the under rail. it has that 1980s coil wire too. It's ridiculous. but yanno, be creative. Or not. who cares. some of society are indeed security professionals or people in dangerous areas that wanna broadcast a little bit.

Unless it’s a gas mask they will go down. This stuff is rough.

No one’s going to stand still and let you shoot them with anything...you can’t just move your head out of the way of something shooting that fast lol
@@CeeWorld69 The thing only has two shots, plus the shooter's aim may not be that good as getting good aim takes plenty practice, plus the target may be moving, plus the only effective place to hit is the face. Lots of drawbacks to this device.
@@stampedmetalsword8099 jpx 4 has 4 shots, that’s more than enough. And no one is supposed to, “know” when they’re going to get shot, you just pull it out and shoot, simple. It’s a SUPER fast gun and EXTREMELY powerful, I own one. When you pull it out, you just shoot, no one’s going to be able to randomly move their head super fast like The Flash or something from DC comics, this isn’t make believe lol, they’re gonna get hit, trust me.

Moving your head will not help. This thing shoots a pattern bigger than a beach ball. It covers you and if your within 5 ft of it you can’t breathe.

Guncleana no it’s pretty big. I carry it in my truck or my brief case.
I only have the double barrel one and I sometimes carry it but the most comfortable way I found is not the best in term of quick deployment I carry the lower and the double barrel clip in 2 separate vest pockets. that way it's not that big and easy to carry but you have to get your lower first and then take the barrels and clip it on even if thats pretty quick and easy to do...
