@@DanielHagerKSR I have a personal favorite call, since I am such a big Tom Leach fan: his call for UK's first TD against Louisville, Mumme's first year (1997), Commonwealth Stadium, Couch to Lance Mickleson.
Great calls by him. I love hearing him during the highlight reels after games shown from the Wildcats TV channel. The first time I heard him straight from the radio was during the Belk Bowl game after I got my car fixed up. I heard that scream and I knew we had won in spectacular fashion.
I look back on this and all the great memories and it’s so sad. I hate looking at the current state of our basketball program with cal. I miss old college basketball.

@@codyrockarano5220 you realize since Cal got here Duke has had just as many good recruits and the same amount of championships and less final fours. March Madness is the hardest tournament in all of sports. It’s the hardest championship to win. But last year we had a veteran team with barely any freshman help and we lost to a 15 seed in the first round…still think Cals original gameplan was bad?
@@codyrockarano5220 we know these players better with social media than ever before. So that argument is just plain wrong. And as far as tittles, Cal has more titles, 1 in 13, than UK has averaged in its history (1 in 15) so the argument that it’s just easy to win a title is pretty uninformed as well.
@@yoyospecs its not even about titles for me. Mark Stoops is a better "Coach" than Calipari. Best recruiter to ever do the thing, but not even in the top 50% of coaches.
Now this is exceptional! Much love and credit to the poster for this one! So many of these type videos only show the Cal years, or at best go back to the mid-90's. To go back to the Givens/Lee time, Bowie/Turpin/Minniefield/Walker and since then shows a much more thorough knowledge and appreciation of the Cats through all the Rupp years. Love this!!!
