This is the best ever interview of a musician I have ever heard in 30 years+. Hands down! Fantastic interview of my favourite guitarist! By a very informed ,capable and intelligent interviewer. What a Gem!
I've loved listening to this album Jake. I plan on listening to this one on my road trip to work 3 hours away from the family. Will get me through the bummer phase before I settle into work mode.
Jake is one of my major influences as is Randy and Zakk. Jake deserves to be recognized as the guitar God along with Randy and Zakk. His rhythm is second to none and his solos are played to add to the song, enhance the song not a bunch of shit being spewed out to impress without thought behind it. And guess what, it’s still impressive! Thank you Jake, I’ve learned a lot from you by learning the songs you wrote. You are a Guitar God.
He is a beast saw him in 86 ultimate sin tour... one of the best guitar sounds and rythym playing guitarists in heavy metal...and yes auto tune is cancer to the art of music..
The luxury of breathing then a year later covid .now in mid 2023 .its almost as if jake knew something.hes to old and stiff .now im glad he could cash out before everything went to shit Jake is my top 3 players of my life time E R. J .
I thought the same about iron maidens a matter of life and death album. I couldn't get it at first. And I went to hear maiden just after the release and they played all the album. I only enjoyed the hits at the end of the concert. I definitely think it was too soon to do a show like that. Anyway more to the point that album eventually grew on me I now think it's a really strong album.

Lol Jake I’ve seen you in Mn. In the summer. Riverfest St. Paul 1989
He would be the only decent replacement for warren dimartini.
He would definitely be embraced by ratts fanbase
I love that Jake has none of his cool factor...a musicians musician
