  • Jake E Lee joins the program for a wide ranging conversation that covers everything from Ozzy wanting to write songs at 3:00 in the morning, Phil Soussan conspiring against him, not bonding with Ozzy, the Badlands manager trying to blackmail him, how he found out Ray Gillan was sick, the modern way of recording an album, Red Dragon Cartels latest record Patina and SOOOOO much more. Just in time for the Holidays, Jake is the gift that just keeps on giving. A fascinating and at times absurd conversation. You may want to relieve yourself before listening. This one is long. Enjoy.

This is the best ever interview of a musician I have ever heard in 30 years+. Hands down! Fantastic interview of my favourite guitarist! By a very informed ,capable and intelligent interviewer. What a Gem!

I've loved listening to this album Jake. I plan on listening to this one on my road trip to work 3 hours away from the family. Will get me through the bummer phase before I settle into work mode.

Jake is one of my major influences as is Randy and Zakk. Jake deserves to be recognized as the guitar God along with Randy and Zakk. His rhythm is second to none and his solos are played to add to the song, enhance the song not a bunch of shit being spewed out to impress without thought behind it. And guess what, it’s still impressive!
Thank you Jake, I’ve learned a lot from you by learning the songs you wrote. You are a Guitar God.

I thought the same about iron maidens a matter of life and death album. I couldn't get it at first. And I went to hear maiden just after the release and they played all the album. I only enjoyed the hits at the end of the concert. I definitely think it was too soon to do a show like that. Anyway more to the point that album eventually grew on me I now think it's a really strong album.
