I have my original copies of ALL Badlands. 2- of the TOP in the collection. DUSK is an OK album some really good stuff mixed with some ok stuff. The first 2 are “Every song kicks your ass” great.
Jake e lee is a great guitarist and one of my favorites of all time but after I watched these stuff it breaks my heart how many musicians had the opportunity to do something great with jake and it all just blew up
It's fantastic to hear from Jake. Even better, he's based in Las Vegas now! That makes me want to hang around the Guitar Center in Town Square on my next day off, just to see if he might turn up. (I think I just tipped off Jake NOT to go to that Guitar Center location now. Curses. I just failed myself again...)
Huge jake fan.. love all his stuff n I don't know this bass player from anyone but Jake says they got out on the road n the bass player was just horrible... ok, didn't you guys practice or play together at all? You've never herd the guy play n you take him out on tour? That don't make any sense what so ever. I don't know nor care but that part sounds funny to me. But anyway jake is 1 of my favorite players of all time!
What Jake meant was that Mancuso was not a good stage presence (or really, a great player, Mancuso is a guitarist after all!) So, he could handle the basic notes of playing bass, but he was only rudimentary and did not give each song its full potential.
Yeah pass on jake but hire Gus g instead who had barely any songwriting input and showed no individuality amongst ozzy other guitar players. Kevin churko wrote most of the guitar parts on scream
I'm a casual Jake E Lee fan, but I listen to every interview of his because he is so candid and cool.
Nothing like Jake e Lee guitar sound and playing he is one of the best hands down
