In the dodgeball scene, Adam Sandler was really hitting those kids as hard as he could, which surprised the child actors and their parents. Some parents were upset and Sandler pointed to the script and explained the joke was that he's a full-grown man hurting six-year olds playing dodgeball. The quick cuts in the scene are to avoid showing the children crying, rather than to fake hitting them.

This movie was pure, unfiltered Sandler. I would say this movie qualifies as a stoner comedy, even though we never see anyone do drugs but it's heavily implied. Speaking of stoner movies, you guys need to see Half Baked with Dave Chapelle.

Shampoo is better. I go on first and clean the hair. Conditioner is better. I leave the hair silky and smooth.

there's one person i want to apologize to from high school 26 years later. I'm a really large guy, and i pushed him into a corner between a wall and a coke machine, and he was stuck. After maybe 5 or 10 seconds, i realized he was really stuck, and tipped the coke machine over so he could get out, but that was a bully moment.

I think the random staircase dance was a couple of drinks still running through Billy...

Fun fact: the guy who delivers the famous "everyone is dumber" line is Jim Downy, one of the former head writers for SNL.

My favorite part is the gardener speaking French to Billy, because he's insulting him.
Roughly, it translates as, *"Listen, old buddy, you will never learn how to speak French; you don't have what it takes; you're an imbecile; it's not worth the trouble to continue this conversation."*
