- Song is played during the ending credits of Persona 3.
I wanted to add FeMC (Minako/Hamuko) to the video, but it was difficult to blend her in with the color scheme I had going. Hope this is okay with everyone!

A fella who doesn't care if he were to die in an instant discovers friends, the true meaning of love, then gives his life to eternally protect those who gave his life meaning.
"I will never leave you," indeed. Will always love this game.

The way he died by a slow lack of life energy affected me way more than him "just dying" while sealing Nyx, it makes this way more memorable together with him with Aigis at the end
absolutely. his is the only heroic sacrifice that has managed to make me cry to this day. the rooftop scene is an absolute masterpiece.
He’s actually supposed to die after giving up his soul to make the great seal. The only reason he’s able to live for a month after that is so that he could keep his promise on graduation day
He gave up his soul to seal Nyx, so by all means he should NOT have returned from the final battle. The only thing keeping him going for that whole month was the promise he made to meet everyone on the roof 😭

Memento Mori
Memento Mori.

_HOLY EFF I JUST MADE A SUDDEN REALIZATION_ . (an essay)
You already know that this theme is the end credits song, right? and is called "memories of you" right?
That song name has the *exact* same prefix as the final month themes:
*Memories of* the school
*Memories of* the garden
*Memories of* the city
And the only theme that is missing is, from the dorm, where S.E.E.S. is residing, because in the context of the final month:
_[SPOILERS BEGIN]_
S.E.E.S. are very much ready to fight the bringer of The Fall, Nyx, even when Ryoji told them that is impossible to defeat it, that it is inevitable. The world took notice of The Fall too; but in contrast to SEES, everyone see it as the end of the world, and they are just... waiting, waiting for it to happen, reminiscing about the past and the _good times_ (hence the title memories of...). Everyone's wish to die and the apathy towards death is what brought the end of everything themself, Nyx, The entity that S.E.E.S. is going to fight.
S.E.E.S. is, on the contrary, experiencing the present since they know is useless to be stuck on the past because they have something to fight for, something *worth to live for* until the end, that is why there's no _memories of the dorm._ The dorm's (final month) theme is called 'Living with Determination' (sick theme btw) instead, the reason is noted in the previous paragraph, plus the name is self-explanatory, SEES is *Living with Determination* , because of the Protagonist, he was able to connect with all the members of SEES throughout the entire Journey and thus, gives them a reason to fight.
"Memories of You" is the final theme of the dorm, the final theme of S.E.E.S. because after The Fight with Nyx, everything returns to normal and everyone forgets what happened on that night and the entire month even, but shortly after they suddenly realized and remembered everything of what happened, plus the promise that they made with him. They try to reunite with the protagonist but sadly, *he passes away* just before their eyes, on the arms of aigis, the credits rolls and... 0:01
...
They lost something that they were subconsciously fighting for, thats the reason is named "Memories of *You"* and is the final song of the game, SEES are the final group of people to lose hope and become just like everybody else.
and thus, The Answer begins...
*******Edit: Grammar and spelling revised
Well said.
Please, do not forget the scene of Ken and Shinjiro, and when Akihiko was paying respects. That scene was the reason why Akihiko continue fighting and be Ken's big brother afterward.
@@nateaviges9839 FUCK i forgot that
(tbh they all have other reasons to fight Nyx, but the death of the MC after that had an impact to all of them (and is what made me think they also were fighting for him too), as shown in The Answer, especially Yukari)
@@retsrose What you said in your reply is true, and that leads to one of the more noticeable problems of the game. The social links are not amazing, because the mc can only make bonds with his teammates that are girls. The only bonds that can get made with the boys on the team are the fools and judgment arcana, which is the team as a whole.
@@nateaviges9839 yeah, the game is really outdated if we compare it to the more recent ones, atleast the boys got the social link in the portable version (still enjoyed it, even with the issues)
guys I think this song is from *Aigis's* perspective, on how she wanted to protect Minako/Makoto after becoming the Great Seal to seal Nyx away, she didn't want him/her to die, she wanted him/her to LIVE, she cares for Minako/Makoto, after knowing the real reason on why she wanted to be by Makoto/Minako's side all the time, she didn't want ANYTHING to happen to him/her, and so does the other members of S.E.E.S, the line, "I will never leave you", means that whatever happens to Minako/Makoto, she'll be there for him/her.
Yeah!!!!!!!!!! This song sounds even sadder when viewed through Aigis's point of view, but this song still contains some hope somehow!!!!!!!!!! With line like" i will get you back, i will never leave you" and "and love through all eternity",this is definitely a special song in the Persona 3 OST!!!!!!!!!

the rooftop, those beautiful cherry blossom, the gentle wind and the smile, the most beautiful song ever.
Persona 3 was an interesting, unforgettable experience for me. I'm a die hard fan of 5, and my friend would roast me for not playing the series. So jumping into 3 was really irritating at the start. But throughout something happened to me. I fell in love with this game, the soundtrack, the characters, the world, every little facet. By the end my emotional investment rivaled and even at points surpassed that of my time with 5. And that's why I don't think I'll ever play 3 again. Anything after that seems excessive. Obviously I'll play The Answer, but after that I'm most likely not gonna touch P3 again. Because just like Aigis told Minato at the end of her Social Link, even when one must part from another, you'll always be together, in each other's hearts.
Persona 3 may have been rage inducing at points, drowning me in utter despair at other times (Looking at you December) or generally lacking upbeatedness throughout, those moments of light, the vacations, eating ramen with friends, walking Koromaru, the laughs and the tears, I'll never forget them. Because that's what Persona is about. Being put in a shitstain situation, but picking yourself up, smiling, and fighting through for those moments of joy that give life purpose. Goodbye Persona 3. You truly were a remarkable guest on my PS2 emulator.

And as my junior year of high school is coming to an end, this song is even more fitting.

How did you discover persona
@@rukonana1018
It was around the summer of my freshman year of high school. And I was interested in buying a new video game console. After giving it some thought, I decided on a handheld console.
The idea of the Psvita seemed so awesome to me and still is, (unfortunately wasn't a successful handheld) but I still enjoy it to this day.
And after watching countless videos 'top 10 vita games' or 'best vita games' etc. There's one game that just always showed up, Persona 4 Golden. I wasn't too into jrpg's at the time and to be honest I don't even think I played one up to that point. What honestly interested me was the new experience I would be getting. I just kept an open mind when playing new games for my Psvita.
Without a doubt, it definitely paid off, I love the Persona franchise now and a lot of my dedication to fandoms, collecting, started with this game.
Eventually I did experience P3 and P5 too.
Just recently I bought P5R for my PS4 as well.
I must've rambled on for too long. Sorry. But now I'd like to know, how about yourself, when did you introduce yourself to Persona?

I will never leave you.
This game came at a perfect time in my life. It changed my perspective in how I look at life and how I perceive my own fear. I've experienced my own share of loss and what its like to create special bonds with others.
I finished the game a few days ago and after thinking about all that this game has taught me, I now know the path I wish to walk. Today marks the 4th of March. Tomorrow I will take my future into my own hands and marry the person I love most on such a special day.
Life is too short to spend it worrying about the future. Thank you Persona 3 for helping me realize that.
Now, I realized that Messiah has the face of Akinari and his social link is kind related to Makoto. At the end, he accepted his fate and found the meaning of life.
i woudn't mind dying again to hear this...
If you want to hear this when you are dying you need to max out your family and friends social links and fight a god in a fist fight and sacrifice yourself

Persona 3 is one of the most incredibly flawed games I've played but it stands out as one of my absolute favorite pieces of fiction for the ideas it's conveyed. I absolutely love Persona 3, warts and all. I am happy I got to play it this year and experience this masterpiece, even when I HATED the gameplay because of the uncontrollable party members. This is a special game, and I love it to pieces.
Oh yeah it’s a very good game. I think due to the limitations of the PS2 that it was much to big of a game for what they were trying to develop. So if a proper remaster comes out they can do it proper justice. (That’s if they don’t take the cheap route) as such, the only, only issue I’ve with P3 fes is the inability to control my party. Everything else is decent especially for the time it came out in.

Just wanted to say thank you for uploading this, it never fails to brighten my day :)
Going to vent here.
My dark reality in high school was that I feared bonds since people moved away anyways, so I didn’t make many friends. How could I not make friends with this cast though? These people are real to me, they support me when I’m down and they stick with me. I would die for them just like Minato did in a heartbeat. I'm a lot like him, in so many different ways. The only difference I'd say is that I had parents, but I really didn't say much or do much in school. I used to play competitively in gaming, and essentially that was my 'power' my persona if you will. Now that I ended that after 10 years, it kind of feels like I 'died.' I'm out of school now, and I really would rather not make friends at work because it's a professional environment.
I was the leader of my team, so I relate to him even more in that regard. It's a unique way that's unlike most people, and it will always be that way. Regardless, I hope you all find meaning in life. Take care of yourselves.
I thank you for this song.
