I'll never forget how I felt when it finally subked in that he was gone and I thought just so unfair...
And then I watched the movies and the ending absolutely destroyed me. I was crying so hard I couldn't even see the end... I had a really big breakdown for half an hour at least.
Finally i watched the Answer. And I understood. I got the answer I wanted. It made me feel so much better when I knew why he died... I knew it wasn't all for nothing. I was truly grateful.

People can hate the movies as much as they want for missing over the minor things, like social links, I think it personally felt better to focus on what was important, rather than placing a social link in the movie, and making it feel forced.

So, I originally mentioned this is Aegis' point of view, but I got to thinking about it more recently. You ever notice you can hear this song in the background of certain other songs? I realized why. You're making memories with people. Good, bad, even just hanging out with them. You're forming memories with them, even if you're not advancing your social link. You're making them remember you as the friend you were, the person who was always there, the one who might have helped them through a tough time.
The song can be heard in various other songs because it's their memories of you. Aegis might be the lead of this song, but it echoes through every other character. They remember you, even if you don't think they will, even if you weren't some emo Jesus who solved their problems, they still remember you.

I just did my first run in 10 years myself and I found myself resonating with the story and characters even more than before. It's been a long time since a game has left me in tears during its finale and P3 does it in such a beautiful bittersweet way 💙

I just made it to final boss of Persona 3 Portable yesterday. The game was amazing!
Persona 3 is one of the best RPGs, Persona 4 improves on it but since P3 is the one that started the whole dating sim thing I think it deserves to be called the better of the two
P3 FES is probably one of, if not THE best PS2 game I've ever played - P4 included. Not to mention that it's higher quality in terms of graphics than a lot of JRPGs on the PS3...which is sad for JRPGs...
EarthSquid Wait what logic is that? Even if the sequel improves on a system, the original is still better than the sequel because it was first?
Don't get me wrong, there's a lot of reasons to like P3 over 4, but just because P3 started the system, doesn't make it better.
That's like saying Super Mario Bros for NES is better than Super Mario Bros 3 because it was first.
+EarthSquid Even with all the improvements P4 has, i still prefer P3, mainly because the characters and themes, P4 is too lighthearted, and while i understand that its because the game is about people relations and friendship, it still feels like there's too much sugar into the game when you compare it to all of the other main games.
I'm really happy P5 nailed how to balance the lighthearted and serious parts of the game.

I actually quite like to think that Minato wasn't depressed at all; he just wasn't all that good at expressing his emotions. It's a much more common thing and it explains these lyrics much better.

@@MrLagoas211 The p3 movies have one take the manga, and the games the other, I would say they all feel a little different in how they deal with his character.
I like to take all the different representations of each MC (manga, anime and games) as a whole. We never act in the same way, it depends of the day, how you feel, etc. Depression is an illness and you can´t avoid it easily but that doesn´t means that you don´t have to look depressed everyday.

I swear I know this game mainly because i had nothing to do when i was on quarantine, then i spend 100 hours maxing my char with megidolaon alice, and then see the ending and was like, "ohh the ending was soo sweet and well done, after a long battle against everything including their own self, finally it reached a happy ending, and the world is saved"

When I realized the protagonist died it makes me feel like I have depression
I always thought that P3 protag was shorter than the rest of the protags, but then P3Dancing just made him have the same body type as the P4 and P5 protag... short people get no respect

The p3 protag is 5'7, the p4 protag is 5'11 and the p5 protag is 5'9
