    Does the S0239 coax jack tighten from the inside or that nut on the outside? Mine is loose and can't budge the outside nut so maybe it's part of the jack itself? -- many thanks

    That a old radio yeast don't work on it any more to me it better then the FT 450 I had a 840 yaesu should never stop building this radio icom never stop building this Radio the IC718 they keep building the 718

    It is mentioned a few times in the video that the replacement resistor is a 30W one but the value is never given (or at least I missed it). According to the service manual this is R2213 and its value is 8.2ohm. Is that correct?

      Yes that is correct on the value of the resistor. It was an engineering defect from the get go.

      Depending on which version, it could be nutted down on outside or flanged with 2 screws from outside. Either way, it's easy to replace if needed.

      Ok thanks. So if I see the nut outside, that's how it's tightened -- having a hard time turning it because of it being recessed like it is.@@dxradioshop
