Yes, they are a great radio and yes, they were a stable board as it was one of the earlier boards when they were built right.

The factory only checks so many of them down the line. If one fails during functional testing, then they check so many back from that point overlooking some thus giving you a radio that is usually off frequency etc. So it is important to always check any radio you buy new because of the reason explained above, thanks!

So, the power supplies they use are good however, there are a few things to watch for, such as the ALC being cranked up as most of the power supplies will eventually kick out shutting the radio off. The other problem is it is switching, not old school power supply where they were more rugged. The newer power supplies are good but many are sensitive and if the voltage is exceeded or current draw, then the radio shuts off. Otherwise, it is a nice base, just have to run them good and make sure they are setup clean and not high dead keys etc.

it's a good talking radio, the receiver is good as well. It's worth what a person wants to spend on a radio. There are many good features with the radio but I would rather go with the RCI-2995DXCF if I had to choose between the 2 radios only because there are more options, features and you can do more with them than with the 69 base plus. Also, keep in mind, they advertise these radios to do all that high power which is completely false. There just a 100 watt radio.

Yeah, the TX led told me that the PLL wouldn't be an issue rather the 10.240 reference would be a good spot to start thus finding bad solder joint in and around that area in which fixed the problem

For the most part yes but they do change them at times from IRF520 to RT1 to RT5 finals so depending on which version you have will determine the type of finals in it.

Depending on what their asking would determine if it's something you want to put money in. They are a great radio. I would buy it if the price was right but again, not know what your buying it for and if your willing to put money into it for repairs. If your looking to keep the radio then yes it is worth it but if your looking to flip it then based on what you pay and what you'll spend on repairs may not be a good idea.

There's one rf coil in the back near the final you can turn down to make that adjustment but have to make sure your output signal remains clean while adjusting it.

If you have no sound from your radio, you can check your external speaker, check your mic and go from there to see if you have a bad speaker, speaker jack connection or bad rx mic wire

Jeff Neely is just mentally sick lol He argues with himself under several fake accounts and some people actually believe it's different people until he was called out and it was proven it was all the same person behind the scenes lol His MO is the same and no matter how he switches it up, it is very easy to see between the lines that it is in fact JEFF NEELY the mental case lol Anyway, He wants me to do a response video so he can argue and keep his drama going but I've got news for him, I'm not going to do one because I have too much work to do and don't have time for his childish games, his jealousy range and his habitual lies. Also, the investigator is taking care of this matter with him and by August Jeff will be arrested and all of his fake accounts will be gone, and all the stupid and ridiculous posts will be gone as well and then people will see how many CB groups will go quiet because he opened several under fake names, and they too will be deleted the investigator said. All the paperwork has been submitted to the DA as well and their just waiting on me to go to Mansfield Texas to finalize everything which is a pain for me to have to go there instead of virtual but it is what it is and if that's what it takes then so be it as long as Jeff Neely gets arrested and charges for his BS then that's what I'll do. He has 2 reports previously filed on him and now a 3rd and he was warned before to stop harassing m e and he did for a few months and then started up again and now he's facing 1-3 years for that on top of phone pranking and deformation of character which I was told by the DA he could get an additional 1-2 years for that charge so looks like Mr. Jeffery won't be on Facebook causing trouble for a while or his RUclips lol Besides all of that nonsense, I am looking forward to helping others and starting new projects and ideas for the general public to be a part of. I believe it is important to share it and help others as the very kind guy did for me. It is always a blast on my channel because many including yourself enjoy learning, helps others with new ideas, helps with different ways to troubleshoot, building fun kits and much more. It is always educational for sure and that is what the hobby is all about. As you mentioned, I am very informative, I show my work, it's all live stream and when the video is complete, the end result is a very good quality and finished 100% working product. That is what customers want, someone who is very honest and really knows what they're doing. As for the TROLLS and that idiot Jeff Neely, well he will get his very soon. August is coming and I'm planning the trip to Texas to press charges on him and put a stop to his sick and mental madness. He loves to destroy people and live his worthless live as a bully but after I go to Texas, he will be BIG BUBBA'S LITTLE PET in a 6x8 jail cell, so I am looking forward to finally putting him away through the justice system. I will keep everyone posted on that as time comes near when I make the trip. Thank you so much! Yes, he will be taken care of come August. I was told that he is living at a motel on and off instead of his dad's because he's afraid to get a knock on the door and face the law lol That was told by an individual who called me the other night and I heard the recording and other things that weren't appropriate by Jeff Neely. I will NOT waste my time making videos on him because I have work to do and radios to fix so I'll use my time wisely for those reasons and besides, the law is handling the problem as we speak and when I make the trip there next month, he will see there's NO bluff. He knows this because he already has 2 reports on him and now a 3rd report which was the final report. The cops told him a year ago if he were to continue and if there were a 3rd report files against him by not only me but anyone in general, he is harassing then he will go to jail because of his nonsense and incompetent behavior.
