I have that very same model RS CB, was the only one I was able to afford that had SSB. I got that radio in 1993/94 and still get good reports from people.

happy to say this mod will open 60 meters as well 5.330.50 to 5.405.00......or remove it

Does this allow for SSB transmission on 60m, or just AM?
I'd like to do this mod for 60m use ad a licensed ham.

Does this mod open up all bands. I want to use an 840 in the 8mhz area for marine use on a boat

there is a fm board so maybe...i am not sure on this as I sold the radio to upgrade to flex 1500

Did it modulate in ssb? Looks like you were in am.
