Honestly, You should put the radio on a scope, audio and signal, Remember you don't want it to splatter on other channels, it need to be aligned, watching from Jamaica west Indies !!
Great video Ralph. Thanks for sharing. I really like my FT-757GX and I use it more than any of my other radios. I noticed the issues with the ALC and I built and external pre-amp for it, thinking that that will help to drive the radio further. However, I quickly realized the ALC kicks in very early preventing the radio to reach 100W no matter of the Mic knob setting, or pre-amp setting. Now I know why. 73, VA3HDL
I have a Yeasu 757 GX can anyone tell me, where on the east coast To get the MODS for my rig, trying to get the Radio unlock and MARS MOD done on it....
