Griots 3n1 on both our daily drivers and a year later they still look great after a Midwest winter season. Use Griots 3n1 after paint correction and it is incredible.
I love how you cover every aspect. Like putting the wheel cleaner on the paint. A lot of people dont think about how it could mess with the sealant or coating on the paint
I use Griot's as a drying aid and I periodically do a regular application a few times a year on my car that lives outside. Never ran into any issue with it building up or layering. The best topper for it is...itself.
Right at the end of the demonstration you can clearly see that the Griot’s garage 3in1 was more durable, that section of the bonnet (Hood) had much more beading over the whole than the TW
I watched another channel do a durability test between these 2 and the turtle wax won. I'm glad to see griots win this time. I think they have a wash that's the same 3 in 1 that will maintain or rejuvenate the protection
I use the Griot Ceramic Spray and then I use the Griot Ceramic Speed Spray as a drying aid on a weekly basis. Good combination. I was going to use on of those expensive ceramic coating but the way my car is looking with these two products, I don't need to.
I’ve used the Turtle Wax for months now, beads just like I put it on(after 2 months with regular washes). This was in the summer, we will see how it performs this winter.
I use lot of Griots products and this one is an amazing product man, left it alone for couple of months just to see how it was, and then switched to my regular top it with Bead Maker on every wash as drying aid. Great video 👍
How did you apply it? Did you use griots once and never again and then used Bead Maker for your regular washes? When you applied Bead Maker as a drying aid did you do it while the car was wet or dried off?
The best topper for the griots 3N1 is there new ceramic speedshine, I believe it's a better product than breadmaker on the 3N1. Its slick and really ads gloss. Oh and your video rocks thanks it was an eye opener.
Awesome demo. Exactly what I was looking for after buying my new Sprinter van and wondering what to use. Never heard of ceramic coating prior to my purchase and now I feel I have what I need to protect my van in the harsh New England winters! Thanks

Thanks for confirming my findings and experience with the Griot’s product, Jeremy. Since I wash my car every 1 - 2 weeks, I use Griot’s on my Benz about once every 2 - 3 months.
I only use two products: Griots 3 in 1, and Fusso Soft 99. Fusso is the durability king, but is more labor intensive. Griots is more user friendly. Good to have both.
@@brandondo3180 Yes, that’s exactly what I’m doing. I know it sounds strange, but it’s a great combo. However, I only top-off the Fusso every three months. Water beads like there’s no tomorrow.

What would be the negative, detrimental, apprehension to doing that? Later you said, “pile up and be a mess”. What would that mess be or look like? Please describe to a newbie.
Have used both. Real world durability was about the same. Both held up well during a snowy, salty winter. Maybe a tiny bit more gloss and deeper color with Griots but I can't say for sure. Griots did apply a little easier. Both great products. I really like using TW Ice Spray Wax on top of the Ceramic... the Ice brings a nice depth to color.
What’s your thoughts on TW hybrid vs griots 3-1 vs TW ice spray vs tec582. I have a ceramic coat already. Planning on using Beadmaker weekly but thinking if I apply something Bette every 6 months would help
The 3-1 is the champ as the spray sealant as of now in my book, you can use much lighter hybrid spray sealants as drying aids as well. Add in a proper maintenance schedule with the right chemicals and you can get at least 18 months or more out of 3-1. Topped at least twice a year and yeah it’ll just keep going.
Haven't started the video but I'm betting on Griots. I've used both and much prefer the Griots than TW. At least on my paint and environment it lasts so much longer.

Yeah. You just don’t need it if you don’t need it. I like using a drying aid so that the towel does not mar the paint while drying. That requires product admirer every wash. You just don’t want a crazy durability product used every week.

Thanks for the review! I started using the Griot's 3 In 1 2 years ago. I am in Michigan and winters can really tear off a coating. I put a final coating in August the last 2 years. I go through the drive thru car wash at least twice a week. The 3 In 1 still has great hydrophobic properties in April 2 years in a row. My co-worker also dabbles in detailing cars some like I do. He likes the Turtle Wax stuff. I noticed last week at work when it was raining that his was hardly repelling the rain. Maybe I will try the Turtle Wax for the summer and hit it with the Griot's in the Fall. I offer the Griot's 3 In 1 as an option to customers and all have been happy that chose it. Plus it is a lot quicker to apply than carnauba or whatever wax I use.
@rattles02 I live in Wisconsin myself so I know how those winters go. So would you advise using the griots or something like tec582 every 6 months, then Beadmaker maybe as a topper more frequently?

Love your channel! Slightly off topic Q: what P&S product do you think makes the best quick detailer for removing bugs, bird droppings, etc? And would you dilute or use at full strength?
Thanks. I would use ONR for that sort of work. Put it in a small spray bottle for touch up work. Follow up with beadmaker or equivalent. Here is an old vid I did about it. ruclips.net/video/sqDpLFOFBMs/видео.html
I'm new at this ceramic stuff. I love how it makes a car shine. Where do I start with a vehicle thats 3 years old and been thru an automatic car wash once a week.
Love your energy dude, subscribed. A little bit of confusion though, at the beginning of the video I had my bets on Turtle Wax. Many of the other videos I watched all showed Turtle Wax excelling or being on par with even the much more expensive products! The results were shocking though, and Griots Garage's product at .91 cents per fluid ounce (22floz) outdid TW's product at .94 cents per fluid ounce (16floz). I'm impressed! You mention though some frustration, that durability like this isn't something you would want? It'll be messy? Are you referring to having to remove the wax/coating with cutting and polishing? If so, why ever need to remove it? If you do a solid wash, clay, cut, polish, buff, and then ceramic coat or otherwise, you should never need to remove it, as the coating will protect the paint (to an extent) especially the more you put on. If you ever DO need to remove it, I've been able to remove even the strongest of coatings with just a strong cleaner that is less diluted, is there a concern to this? Hopefully you'll see this or someone else may, excited to see more of your videos in my feed.
Thanks. I was just referring to layering strong sealants. I prefer to have a strong sealant or ceramic coating as a base layer and just top it off with a less durable drying aid after each wash. Something that wears off after a few washes. After the stronger sealants starts to fade then I reapply. I gauge the need for this at each wash cycle. A lot of people were asking about putting this type of spray coating on after each wash. I think that’s to much durability to applied like that. That’s just my thoughts. Thanks for watching and commenting your thoughts. Welcome to the channel.
@@HawaiiDetailing Ah, I see! Okay this clarifies, I didn't catch these clarifications in the video if you had mentioned them. My bad. I definitely can understand how that may be "bad" for strong coatings like that. Drying aids are probably the best bet in that regard. Awesome, and thanks for the response!
Man I appreciate all you do here. I’ve learned so much from your videos. You do all the hard work so we can just go buy the best stuff and get our rides clean! Man I’m dying to know what brand your aluminum product holders on the wall are. I need some.
Awesome video, thanks!!! Would like to see a comparison between the Griots Garage Ceramic 3 in 1 Wax vs Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Pro Graphene Spray Wax.
@@nicolasbrunelle2189 pan the advertiser? The guy who charges tw 16 thousand dollars a video? That pan? I'm sure that doesn't affect his objectivity...
You need the solutions to actively break down the coatings by letting them sit on the panel for awhile. When you just spray on and wipe off, the chemical is not really doing anything at all. What you are seeing for results is just the friction of the mitt you are using to wipe down the panel along with the pressure washer's cleaning power. A fair test would be to take a small drop of each solution and let them sit for a few minutes and then use free flowing water to rinse it off so the pressure washer itself doesn't influence the cleaning results.
Most of the video was sped up as it was a 45 minute event reduced to be viewable. The products dwelled for a few minutes each time. It was intended as a rough reference for durability showing that the products last long enough for people that do not wash their car regularly not a scientific torture test. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Yeah. Thanks a lot. This video I just wanted to show what normal everyday wash products would do if they ended up on the coating accidentally during a wash. I will do some more hood tests if people like them.
So currently I have Griots on one of my cars but am about to give it an actual ceramic coating. (CSL). I did a one step earlier this summer before I applied the griots and it is looking great. Still tight beads. How should I be going about removing any of the remnants of the coating to return to the “naked paint” ?
Yeeaahhh! Griot's looks solid. Any chance you could do a mix of P&S Pearl and Adam's car shampoo to see how much more foam it makes than just the straight P&S Pearl out of a foam cannon? Maybe 1oz of each, a combo I'm thinking of doing.
can you explain why you wouldnt want to keep applying the 3 in 1? why would it be a mess? wouldnt it be good to keep adding protection? sorry in advance im a beginner. thank you for the content!
Coatings only need to be applied when they are wearing out. A long term product can withstand multiple washes. No need to reapply every wash unless it’s wearing out. A short term product is best used as a drying aid for weekly washes as it wears out faster and you reapply each wash. At least that’s my opinion.
fantastic video! do you know with the turtle wax, can you re-use the towels which you used to apply/buff off? because it has si02 I just want to make sure if I should be throwing towel away after, or all good to wash and re-use?
Did I just watch this correctly? You used Super Clean diluted 1:1 straight on the paint while rubbing it in before rinsing it off around 8x and it was still showing some slight protection after that?
Aloha, I'm on Oahu as well and own a black car but no garage and it's also my daily driver. I'm a DIY detailer so I do complete detail every 6 months of wash, iron X, clay, polish, using paint sealant as the base coat then top with a wax. My preference is Collinite and Black fire products. I'm trying to get on the "ceramic coating train" but don't wanna pay $1200+ for a shop to do it. Like I said, I don't have a garage for the overnight "cure time" for those coatings (leaning towards CQ UK 3.0) and I haven't found a detail shop that uses that particular product. Anyways, I'm pretty much relegated to using ceramic spray coatings because of the acceptable shorter cure time and found your channel regarding the Griots 3 in 1. I kind of understand your opinion on "layering" the Griots (law of diminishing returns). The Griots is a COMBO of polymers (sealant), Si02 (ceramic) and carnauba (wax). That being said, do you feel the "maintenance" product be a Si02 spray or a wax-based spray? I think a "paint-sealant" spray for maintenance would not be effective because a sealant needs to be used as a "base-coat" and not as a layered coat? I wanted to try Wolfgang-brand sprays or Lithium-brand sprays every other wash to maintain the durability and was wondering if you have any experience with those two product lines. Mahalo for taking the time to read this, lol
I have not tried them. I like to use durable sealant as needed and use a good drying aid every wash. Its works well to keep the paint slick and hydrophobic. Thanks for watching the channel.

Thanks. I would use ONR for that sort of work. Put it in a small spray bottle for touch up work. Follow up with beadmaker or equivalent. Here is an old vid I did about it. ruclips.net/video/sqDpLFOFBMs/видео.html
Love the shop setup…
Thanks.
Griots is a beast
Yeah it pretty good stuff.
Awesome review 🤙
Thanks! 👍
I'm new at this ceramic stuff. I love how it makes a car shine. Where do I start with a vehicle thats 3 years old and been thru an automatic car wash once a week.
If it has a lot of swirls it will need a paint correction to get a good shine back.
love your vids! Keep it up!
Thanks a lot.
Thanks I appreciate it. Here you go a.co/7jFjrWQ
As always brother awesome video yeah! 😎👍🏼
Thanks a lot buddy.
Awesome video, thanks!!! Would like to see a comparison between the Griots Garage Ceramic 3 in 1 Wax vs Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Pro Graphene Spray Wax.
Great suggestion! Thanks for watching
Pan do a 10 month test and the TW graphene win it by far
Hey... do we need to decontaminate, polish and ipa? Or can we put this after a regular car shampoo?
You can put right on after wash if the paint is good and clean. If you are going to polish etc I would go with a real ceramic coating.
That's the thing, I don't know how to do polishing, i'm a regular guy who just likes to keep his car clean and shiny.
I’ll be back...with another comment. Lol. I appreciate the comparison and testing.
Thanks. hahaha
the skit is funny, keep it going !
Thanks a lot
Fruits is showing similar results.on my vehicles.
Great video. I’d like to see what a strip wash shampoo would do
Yeah. Thanks a lot. This video I just wanted to show what normal everyday wash products would do if they ended up on the coating accidentally during a wash. I will do some more hood tests if people like them.
I can tell how much time you put into laying that tape down, for that, a thumbs up.
Lol. Thanks
Interesting idea. If you try it let me know how it goes. I would probably stick with one or the other but it could be a winner. Thanks for watching
can you explain why you wouldnt want to keep applying the 3 in 1? why would it be a mess? wouldnt it be good to keep adding protection? sorry in advance im a beginner. thank you for the content!
Coatings only need to be applied when they are wearing out. A long term product can withstand multiple washes. No need to reapply every wash unless it’s wearing out. A short term product is best used as a drying aid for weekly washes as it wears out faster and you reapply each wash. At least that’s my opinion.
Isn't it better to just have the extra shine and protection? Especially since tw ceramic is so cheap. Why use anything else?
Hi there! Greetings from Panamá… Can you Do a review of Optimum Car Care product…
Hyper Seal and Optimum Car Wax…. Thanks 😃
Awesome video... Been using TW 🐢 as my goto hybrid coating. Love it!! 👍🏻
Thanks a lot. I appreciate it.
its always. Adams, they seem to be the best
They do well in all my challenges for sure
great comparison!
Glad you enjoyed it
fantastic video! do you know with the turtle wax, can you re-use the towels which you used to apply/buff off? because it has si02 I just want to make sure if I should be throwing towel away after, or all good to wash and re-use?
Wash and reuse. Use this detergent that is designed to break down products on the towels. amzn.to/3KIw9Jb
Thank you so much!
O’Riellys has 3 in 1 on sale buy two get one free so I scored three for $40.
Good deal. Thanks for watching
Did I just watch this correctly? You used Super Clean diluted 1:1 straight on the paint while rubbing it in before rinsing it off around 8x and it was still showing some slight protection after that?
@@theq-ster6981 it was a real test.
Very good video
Thanks for the visit. Thanks or watching
that is now the cleanest hood on the island
Hahaha. Yeah it reaaallly clean now.
Have you checked out Shine Supply products from Ventura, California ? Epic stuff bro
Will have to look into it. Thanks.
Thanks for watching the channel.
excellent video.....
Thank you!
Awesome cedió brother!

@@dunzoautomotivedetailing992 Thanks a lot. I appreciate you watching.
@@HawaiiDetailing no problem, I really enjoy watching your videos. They inspire me to get better. I’m definitely looking to transform my garage like you did so thank you for all the informational videos 😊
Nice video!
I think the Griot’s beads better.
Do you ever use P and S Paint Gloss?
Thanks. Yes I was impressed with it for sure. I have not used paint gloss. I plan to give it a go soon. Have you? Thanks for watching.
@@HawaiiDetailing I haven’t, I’ve only seen a few reviews on RUclips. Waiting for a trusted source first, LOL!
