Hi, thanks, yeah I like the colour combo and all the parts come in a similar blue so that also helps, I wanted to get white radiator hoses but was not able to find. Thanks for the support.
Hi, the 1.5 Dseries makes about 160whp at 7psi, and on stock internals they can do about 200 to 220hp before the rods or headstuds fail. Not as strong as the B or K series but still decent and way cheaper 😉
Hi Kevin, yeah sorry for the delay, taking some time to get the videos edited. but soon I should be able to start putting out content on a regular schedule. thanks for the support!!
Hi Lucas, this will lower your compression as the B7 is low comp head and Y8 has low comp pistons, I estimate about 8.8-1 compression. It will still run fine but less performance NA, good for boost though. Use this website to calculate - www.zealautowerks.com/dseries.html
the B7 block, Y8 head combo will give you a higher compression ratio. should give a bump in power, just use high octane fuel on that setup. goodluck with the build!
Hi, at the time there was no iacv, I tuned the ecu to hold the idle by retarding timing at 750rpm. not perfect but it did work, I have since added a 3 pin ivac from the D16 Auto.
From one honda owner to another Thank you for this content. Love following the progress. You should have a Q&A after the build. Do you have Instagram or Facebook so we can start posting some questions?
Hi Ashley, thanks for the support! good idea will likely do a Q&A after we dyno the car. I do have both instagram and facebook, you can check the "about" section on my channel ro links or search "risingboost" they should come up, look for the red logo.
Hi Sosa, the ports are 1/2, however, the fitting fits a 10mm hose so they are probably 8mm ID. fits perfectly with the brake booster hose. check the link in the description for more details.
Hi John, the specific on I have is perhaps discontinued, as I have not been seeing it recently on any site. but it use to sell on AliExpress by shops like EPMAN. it use to be very cheap ($25) but shipping was expensive.
@@RisingBoostYT thank you for replying. I really like how it’s very compact and looks like a very good flowing log manifold. Building by d16 this winter. I’ll look around if I can source that. Great build btw.
Hi bro, my civic is a jdm version and never had the evap system as it did not have to comply with the regulations, but If it did have it I would have deleted it
@@RisingBoostYT i got question so my car obd2 planning to run obd1 ecu p28 soon. If i delete evap cap the intake vacumm can i still pass the inspection ??? I know obd2 and obd1 different when it comes to evap i heard some people delete it and cars run fine without evap on obd1
🔥🔥🔥
Been watching this series closely. Love the build
Hi Jg, thanks for watching 👀. Will be running real soon
Damn man , looks and runs nice . Love the color pattern you have picked and it looks cleaner then most civics ive seen :D .
Hi, thanks, yeah I like the colour combo and all the parts come in a similar blue so that also helps, I wanted to get white radiator hoses but was not able to find. Thanks for the support.
You don't have to install that 1 way on the brake booster, they have them built in internally. but it's correct in theory!
Hi Bro, thanks good to know, I just did not want to risk it coz I was not sure.
Keep it bro 🔥, ur videos are very useful to me.
Thank you SM bro

I'm doing a d15b7 with y8 bottom.. How Many comp ratio you gave?
Hi Lucas, this will lower your compression as the B7 is low comp head and Y8 has low comp pistons, I estimate about 8.8-1 compression. It will still run fine but less performance NA, good for boost though. Use this website to calculate - www.zealautowerks.com/dseries.html
@@RisingBoostYT I'm going to do like you, but using d15b7 Block with y8 head

Where is the iacv sir?

what is the an size for the end ports ?

Can someone please tell me what company makes that turbo manifold or where can I get the same turbo manifold ?

Yes, internal design is decent for a cheap cast manifold. goodluck with the build!
@@jayvee8948 I got mine off eBay for 85 usd. Same one as him (mine is a t25 flange idk what his is)

Letss goooo!!
Hi Bro, thanks for the support and always commenting!!
What size and brand turbo is that?
Hi Ricardo, it is a Copy T04E 50AR, too big for the engine, loads of lag. I would recommend a smaller turbo for the setup.
