      Hi, thanks, yeah I like the colour combo and all the parts come in a similar blue so that also helps, I wanted to get white radiator hoses but was not able to find. Thanks for the support.

    You don't have to install that 1 way on the brake booster, they have them built in internally. but it's correct in theory!

    What’s that producing for hp with the turbo d series? Normally only see the turbos on k and b series

    • @RisingBoostYT
      @RisingBoostYT  3 года назад +2

      Hi, the 1.5 Dseries makes about 160whp at 7psi, and on stock internals they can do about 200 to 220hp before the rods or headstuds fail. Not as strong as the B or K series but still decent and way cheaper 😉

    I'm doing a d15b7 with y8 bottom.. How Many comp ratio you gave?

    • @RisingBoostYT
      @RisingBoostYT  Год назад +1

      Hi Lucas, this will lower your compression as the B7 is low comp head and Y8 has low comp pistons, I estimate about 8.8-1 compression. It will still run fine but less performance NA, good for boost though. Use this website to calculate - www.zealautowerks.com/dseries.html

    • @100crook
      @100crook Год назад +1

      @@RisingBoostYT I'm going to do like you, but using d15b7 Block with y8 head

    • @RisingBoostYT
      @RisingBoostYT  Год назад

      the B7 block, Y8 head combo will give you a higher compression ratio. should give a bump in power, just use high octane fuel on that setup. goodluck with the build!

    what is the an size for the end ports ?

    • @RisingBoostYT
      @RisingBoostYT  Год назад

      Hi Sosa, the ports are 1/2, however, the fitting fits a 10mm hose so they are probably 8mm ID. fits perfectly with the brake booster hose. check the link in the description for more details.

    From one honda owner to another Thank you for this content. Love following the progress. You should have a Q&A after the build. Do you have Instagram or Facebook so we can start posting some questions?

    • @RisingBoostYT
      @RisingBoostYT  3 года назад +1

      Hi Ashley, thanks for the support! good idea will likely do a Q&A after we dyno the car. I do have both instagram and facebook, you can check the "about" section on my channel ro links or search "risingboost" they should come up, look for the red logo.

    Where is the iacv sir?

    • @RisingBoostYT
      @RisingBoostYT  Год назад

      Hi, at the time there was no iacv, I tuned the ecu to hold the idle by retarding timing at 750rpm. not perfect but it did work, I have since added a 3 pin ivac from the D16 Auto.

    What size and brand turbo is that?

    • @RisingBoostYT
      @RisingBoostYT  3 года назад

      Hi Ricardo, it is a Copy T04E 50AR, too big for the engine, loads of lag. I would recommend a smaller turbo for the setup.
