The Stan Project is a documentary that follows Stan, a man from the inner city of Boston, who after living a life of crime and seeing his friends return from war decided to travel the country, eventually winding up in the village of Tanana, Alaska. The project is about exploring what gives you purpose, finding happiness, and working towards something meaningful.

Anyone interested in a signed copy has two options:
First way go to: www.thestanpro... and buy a pre signed book (the simplest)
Second is to buy a book on Amazon and follow these instructions. (Many have done this and it has worked well. Done hundreds and no mail failures yet).
1. Get two 12.5 x 9.5" priority mail flat rate envelopes at post office.
2. Self-address and put postage on one envelope.
3. Address other one to: Stan Zuray, Box 77172, Tanana, Alaska, 99777 and put book and other envelope in it (folded) and signing instructions if any and I'll sign and return.
Please send no money - my privilege to sign but an Amazon review would be appreciated. Flat rate both ways will cost you under $18.
I remember when they were talking with you about a documentary a few years ago...I am glad to see it's coming soon. I lived a little north of you in Utopia Creek in '76. Only there for 4 years, then life pulled me away and I regret not staying. So your life story resonates with me. Hope Joey and family are well. You and your wife have created a rich life. I'm sure now in 2023 you are glad that you left the city for the wonderful decades you have had in Alaska.. a great friend of mine and I were planning on going to the mountains and living a clean, simple life but ended up falling in love with 2 wonderful women that are cousins and now we raise our children together and talk about when they're raised in a few years how we are going to set out to due what we wanted to decades ago
Go for it and live your best life. I’m doing the same in a couple years. Just tired of the everyday rush. No one ever stops to look at the world anymore.

Stan, I don’t know what to say. We’re not too far off in age. Had I the courage, the means, the foresight…..what ever it was, had I been able to make the choices you made, I’d have had a far far better life. So at least I get to see someone, maybe more deserving, get that. It’s a joy to see such a nice guy get what he deserves.

I often wish I was a young man again and could make a life-changing decision like Stan's and move to Alaska. I hope everyone in the world gets to see the documentary. Ryan and Kari nailed the trailer and the music. I have watched it about ten times and I always get goosebumps. I know the documentary will be great. My anticipation for the final product grew with every Kickstarter update from Ryan and Kari. Stan, thanks so much for sharing your story with us. Quincy, here. Although, I've been transplanted in the Midwest for some time. I discovered Yukon Men within the first few episodes and remember thinking, "that guy sounds like a Bostonian."
