- These HSTs breed like rabbits! Here's yet another one, this time in the now defunct Midland Mainline livery (which I happen to think looks very smart actually). They're really not bad sets, especially if you can get them for a good price. Enjoy.

oh yes that livery really does look stunning.
the bit about the moon i was grinning so much fantastic vid well done
Great video. You're right on the looks, the train is absolutely beautiful.
that is such a nice train
* detail
* livery
* great model
love it all in total
6:58 TGS Trailer on the wrong way round. Otherwise great vid :o)
what a very smart looking train! great video well done
I love your kitchen !
She looks fantastic, well the livery does, looks well smart, definitely no.1 for my first HST so far I think, and the 4 coaches does make her really :)
any ideas on getting a better connection between the engines and carraiges? as the engines don't have tension hooks my MML HST seems to drop the carraiges a lot on my layout. (she is DCC so may need some running in)
Awesome Will good to see a review again this is also excellent
Excellent as always will!!
You should have a look at the Australian version called the XPT
I have the Lima version. Still runs like it was built yesterday even though it dates from 1986: Two Power Cars and four Trailers.
Great review!
lovely video,well done,i loved it!!!!!!
I miss National Express Midland Mainline. It was the first privatised railway operator, as such as: GNER, Midland Mainline, Virgin (Cross Country and West Coast), Central Trains, Silverlink, Connex (Thameslink, Southern, etc.), SPL, Arriva, Stagecoach (Southwest Trains and Virgin), First (Great Western Railway, Northwestern, Hull, etc.), and so-fourth; that we all remember them like yesteryear and worship them till’ the day that we all die.
love the video and the train
Nice review as usual :)
Great video as always. You should try doing videos at the North Pole then all you would have to worry about is Polar Bears interurpting you.
Oh and thanks for the Twitter suggestion about those storages boxes picked up a Hornby one and a Scaletrix one from the works and they are both really handy
@zilte2 - not sure but all the old HSTs had no couplings on. It's not a problem though as the coaches do.
HA HA HA! That was really funny when you made the horn sound, how cute. By the way, That was great!
im having problems with my intercity 125 hst with ringfield motor. i dont know whats up with it but it just screams all the time and although it sounds realistic for those valenta fans its also quite worrying. wether its normal wear and tear or the strain of pulling a full xc 8 car train i do not know. any thoughts on how to stop it?
Once again great vid. I'm sure you know this but the motor is a ringfield (I think that's what it's called)motor and beware they are well known to have problems and I speak from personal experience with the older virgin HST and that practically never leaves the worktop and when it does it does less than 3 laps of my small layout and freezes up requiring oiling YET AGAIN only to break down three laps later and as I said this is a common problem normally accompanied by a squeal before it freezes
yet again lovely vid but one question are you going to do a layout in the future because the amount of detail you do on your videos would be great to see what you can do on a layout
I love it!
I recommend getting a First Great Western HST, the post 2007 dynamic lines livery looks awesome.
@robloxianfilmmakers - it was still new so I wouldn't have ran it too fast while it was still 'finding its bearings' basically.
I have a couple of requests
1. An A1 or A3
2. A feature length on a digital sound locos
Love your vids
Good Midland Mainline HST there! I`ve driven them simulated :)
@BritishRailways60163 - haha cool! :) The actual Midland Mainline ones?
can you review the class 150 by northern rail. please?
Yep, I really miss the Midland Mainline livery too, so much smarter than East Midland Trains.
why don't you get either the grand central hst, the cross country hst, the east coast hst, the east midlands trains hst or the network rail new measurement train hst.
dont know if you could help me but I have this set and when I put the end dummy on the loco does not move and just wheel slips? can you help @InterCity82
nice looking engine I LOVE THIS GUY HE MAKE SUPERB VIDEOS
hi do you know the bst place to get sound chip's asi will like to put sound on all my stock
How many coaches have you got as Spain's?
great vid 5***s i noticed the lego transporter, any close up videos of that coming soon?
Great vid! Midland Mainline on a HST looks great! :) Are you planning on buying the Bachmann class 350 when it comes out?
Thanks.
I recommend the Pendolino for a DC set and the Mixed Freight for a DCC set
@EWS60008 - I agree! It would be great if they could bring it out as a 'premium model'. And yes I know about the TGS - my excuse is it was late, I was tired and just running it in really - not properly running it. :)
@jonathan2010katie - a 'proper' layout will feature when I upload Series 4 next year. It's a huge layout and I do mention it in the 'Meet IC82 (3,000 subscribers!)' video.
@JWaggie2010 no - too old and basic for that but can be converted manually.
can you replace the mk3 couplings
@CorporalKinsa - thanks my friend! :) Yup all is good here, busy busy busy! As usual! Hope you're ok too?
@Whizzer1 - it has lights but they're not as good as the lights in the premium HSTs.
@MrRyan60 - she will light up in the direction of travel. There are no red lights.
Could you try and get hold of one in First Great Western livery please.
do u clean in the inside of the rails
and sorry if i asked u many times
how do u clean ur trains
With you all the way on the livery, MML is far the best livery i've seen, especially on the 222s
@intercity82 was the first Midland Mainline coach a brake coach?
haha! thanks - I'll take that as a compliment
Is that even made in model form?
why didnt u get the premium one
how much extra is the premium
@TheRailCity - yes, several times. It's not bad, just a shame it's not properly funded or cared for by Crewe Council (who frankly don't care about anything).
it's not high priority at the moment but I may get round to it once the IC82 site can sell it on again for me.
can you get a arivva dvt by hornby
is the Midland Mainline ORIGINAL livery available, or is it just the late livery or nothing?
Grand central is the best. Certainly by looks.
when it starts speeding away it sounds very loud my little brother has a very loud class 37 by lima but that sounds louder
@HSTcallum - I am aware of that but wasn't running it as a proper train, just running it in essentially.
good video great video
OMG THANK YOU !
@modeltrainteen95 - there isn't a premium Midland Mainline one.
@Badgersize - it is on my list but I'm in no major rush.
I'm planning on getting this for my birthday
@BritishRail2002 - thanks!
Nice
@InterCity82 yep all good down here! uploads have resumed so all busy busy :)
@InterCity82 Yep. From London St Pancras to Bedford :)
a few years ago i seen a mml hst run a first great western route to penzance
Does she have directional lights?
very nice Will :)
your making me want to have a HST now ;)
your going to hate me for asking but do you know when your Website will be up and running?
will you notify us when it is?
Is this HST the one with the new lights or the old one lights like your HST Swallow livery one (cant remember the name) but you obviously you'd know what i mean
loads were at nevile hill but grafitied by emt even 4 class 08 diesel shunters
I got the virgin one from hattons for £30 (hattons is in liverpool
dos it have LED's
when will the website be done??
You put the last Mk3 (TGS) the wrong way round as the guard's compartment should be next to the power car, but great vid :)
have you got smokey joe? i strongly advise it, its a great little steam train with lots of strength and can easily pull passenger carriages or many freight wagons.
what is your favorite hst/class 43?
Is it DCC ready will ??
when is series 4 coming out ?
how much was it
Where the rowler is from? Is it from Hornby or Bachmann?
It's from Hornby I will try and find what train set it comes with
They still have this running on the ECML, East Coast own an EMT set
it used to run thru places like Nottingham but now it's all East Midlands anyway.
do you and craig both share the layout of is it a personal investment?
you do! That's right. Even now.
@InterCity82 You said you are doing the Blue Rapier. When?
you did this video at 5 O clock in the morning!!!!!!!!!
have you ever done the class 350?
how much did this cost ?????
great video as always will hope your well!
JOHN. D. C. :)
well said
i relly like that sound affects it just sound's so aceuert.
their older HST packs did have coaches.
How many HST's do you have?
what pretend horn at 09:15?
@NSE466 - the doors open on the premium HSTs only.
haha nice once! I bet it's like my old one.
wheres this weeks vid?
