Take a day trip or overnight stay at TAGAYTAY via a 1 1/2 hour Bus Ride heading south of Manila. Lots of snenic views of the Taal Volcano, great restaurants, Starbucks with the best view, inexpensive tricycle rides to spots all around the area including a mini Switzerland, also a Ferris Wheel with spectacular view of the sunset. Oh the temperature drops 20 degrees from Manila since the area is somewhat a hill along the shore of a Bay. I highly recommend you guys book a hotel overnight. Buko Pie is the local delicacy Enjoy.

My First Job was on Makati City .. BGC is not yet a City but a Barangay of Makati .. Lots has changed and I love it . . When we like to relax , my family usually want to stroll and dine in BCG and Makati area .

How is BGC, Taguig City compared to Sydney central business district or Melbourne central business district? Because a lot of foreigners compared BGC to the central business districts in Australia. By the way, Venice Grand Canal is located in McKinley Hill, Taguig City and not BGC.
Mckinley Hill is part of BGC technically as far as I know. That was a part of the whole Fort Bonifacio or formerly Fort McKinley. It was just recently completed after the other part of BGC you're referring to was developed. It is located at the same city of Taguig but was formerly a part of Makati city.
Hello . BGC and McKinley Hill used to be a military zone area, called Fort Bonifacio. The govt sold it to the private sector in 1990s. The rest is history. Cheers and thank you Mohammad for your thoughts.
Venice Shopping mall and McKinley is not a part of BGC, but of course the "Cityborders" is not so hard and development is undergoing between BGC and McKinley with the new senate and other high-class condos, so all of the places will be even higher class and more like One big part of Manila rather than 2 separate. More interesting is the history of the area, with firstly owned by US as a military base, and then during the Marcos martial law with the big prisons with some senators and other political prisoners... and the in the 90ths sold to Ayala to be develop to the best place in Manila.. well done Ayala!
@7:18 breads thing…is actually leche flan… which is baked or steamed egg yolks, milk and melted sugar for that caramel flavor… you’ll have to try it by itself… @7:22 Halo-Halo means mix mix your supposed to mix them all to have all those flavor all mix together as it taste good better. About the dog nappies, I think the malls in the Philippines requires your dogs to have nappies because majority of dogs there are not potty trained compared in europe and US. Some , if not most dogs, especially mutts, are always outside the main house and so they were never potty trained. Therefore, as a precaution and to avoid “accidents” they just require dogs to have nappies on places like malls or restaurants
Whoa! You first visited Makati, my previous work area. Now, you're in BGC, where I currently work. 😁 It's a lot better to visit there at night, especially in Bonifacio High Street and Piazza Venice. PS. Dogs are not allowed inside the malls without diapers on. Maximillian's "Beautiful Scars" is in my playlist.

Just my guess. I think what makes the water blue is that they painted the bottom (and sides) that blue color, so it's just showing through the water. I think it's also very shallow... Congrats btw for 50K subs :)
