AN ISLAND FULL OF PIGS! (a must do on koh samui) 🇹🇭

- In this video, we take a day trip from Koh Samui, Thailand, to visit two closeby Islands - Koh Tan and Koh Madsum. Koh Tan has some decent snorkelling options, and usually acts as your first stop on most Pig Island tours you will take from Koh Samui. After Koh Tan we arrive at Koh Madsum, we quickly find out why it’s called PIG ISLAND! We see a large number of BIG pigs sleeping, playing, and interacting with tourists and visitors!
We eat a set lunch of Chicken Cashew Nut and chicken wings, before Kayaking, swimming, and enjoying life on a very, very beautiful beach. Actually, whilst the pigs are cute and fun, this island is worth it for the beach alone! Its so beautiful!

Did you mention the 💲 cost? I must have missed it , do you remember how much?
@@ShelbyA2LA I mentioned it but the tour was around 1,000 baht each, so $40ish aussie dollars! 😁😁 some quotes we got were around 1,500 so about $60! All within that range! 😁☺️

I was in Koh Samui many years prior to Covid and yes, it is expensive to get around. Even with a song taew, in Koh Samui the price is tripled to the ones in Bangkok or anywhere else that isn’t an island. Basically, the expenses on islands are reasonably overpriced.
You’re right! I forgot about the songtaew but it still cost us 200 baht to go 3 minutes down the road to our place! Haha where as here in Chiang Mai it’s like 30 baht! 😂 so I’ll still stick with saying it costs so much to go anywhere! 😂😂

there are around 9 species of sharks in thailand and most of them are quit shy and will avoid humans the aggressive ones are kinda rare like the bull shark, nurse sharks and grey reef sharks so dont worry too much XD. the food that the tour provides are usually not too great lol its more about the scenery i reckon, love your videos as always and i must say the quality of your content improves with every video, keep up the good work!

Hello, Josie. Have you ever tried the grilled fish (Pla pao)? They coat the fish with salt and grill it. I would like to recommend you this menu.

Thank you SO much for watching!! 😍😁🙏🏻 we pay everything we can with card but it’s mostly only big stores and 7/11’s etc that take card. You can exchange cash if you like there are exchange stations everywhere, or we just withdraw cash from the ATM :) 🤍
